IDYLLWILD COFFEE ROASTERS REVIEW

Anyone that knows me, knows I love coffee. So when I got a package today from Idyllwild coffee roaster's I was beyond excited.

The company is from California, a town named Idyllwild. It's a small town that nestle's in the San Jacinto mountains. Their coffee is always roasted in house, where visitor's and friends are always welcome.

Inside the box was four bags of their coffee beans, and two on the go pouch coffee's.

Through out the day I was able to grind one cup of each bag to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee.

First bag was their peaksorganic espresso. A mountain blend, with a bright aroma, a full body flavor and a smooth taste. It's great to know that being a organic coffee it has no chemical residues. The beans we're very easy to grind, and the aroma filled the kitchen. It was a very concentrated espresso, just the right strength. The beans grinded nicely, and I was able to use the coffee in my drip coffee maker.

Two hours later, another grind on the way. This time it was the Colombian organic coffee bean. This bag is a French roast, with a chocolate aroma, a mellow Smokey taste, with a thick body of goodness. This I had with some tea biscuits, and it was a perfect pairing. The coffee had a very big balance of flavor. The sweet aroma of the chocolate makes you want more than one cup, it’s a very inviting coffee.

Since I had two cups already, my guest tried the next cup, a grind of the Peruvian organic coffee, that was swp decaffeinated. The aroma was sweet, with a taste of cocoa, and the body texture was thin. My guest said the coffee to her is smooth, and very delicate. You could not tell the coffee was decaffeinated at all. She felt the coffee was very well balanced with a nutty cocoa tone to it. The aroma dripping was very pleasant, and was a great finish to our lunch.

After dinner, the grind was the Papua New Guinea organic coffee. This was a medium dark roast. The aroma was very earthy, the taste was that of caramel, with a medium body. This coffee was very well balanced, with a mild broad of flavors, cocoa being the main flavor to hit the palette. It was a bright and clean taste, delicate, and exotic at the same time. And when dripping you did get a aroma of a fruity scent as well. A very fine coffee to end the evening with.

Idyllwild roasters, also offer a great cup to take with you, as example camping. This is a single cup coffee of the Colombian coffee French roast, in a pour over pouch. Very easy to use on the go. Just tear the pouch open, place the pouch on the cup, pour hot water, wait 20 seconds, and you have a full body coffee waiting to drink.

Idyllwild coffee roasters has been in business over ten years, and pride them selves in their success. They love to give back for the support that the community gives to them.

These coffees, are great and anyone would enjoy having them.
