There is always a good movie to watch, and wind the night down with. But it's even better watching it with a great snack. So tonight, the family will get to try some popcorn sent by Purplegurl's popcorn & more.

This is a company from Glendale, AZ, family owned, family operated. The small company renowned for its tasty, air-popped popcorn created by Corey & Kimberly Horton in September 2012. They also turned the joy of exchanging sweets with the friends and neighbors into a fantasy of entrepreneurship. The owners, Coreyand Kimberly Horton are college sweethearts, that turned their love of popcorn into a growing business. As a small enterprise, they know the effect they have on our society on a regular basis. They are leaders of the Regional First AZ, the Glendale Chamber of Commerce and the Arizona African Chamber of Commerce. They believe in the building of our culture. They are also shoppers and are searching for incentives to buy from other small businesses to help them expand.

So with that being said, it's time to turn in, and grab two bowls, one for each flavor they sent!

First bowl, the Purplegurl's bananas popster. This is the company's take on banana foster dessert. And if you love banana's you are going to love this popcorn. Each kernel you put in your mouth, hits you with the flavors of caramel, cinnamon and bananas. The banana taste is from the light coating that is on the popcorn. Also in the bag are tiny chips of dried banana for a additional treat. The flavor is very exotic, with sweet fluffy kernels. You will not be able to stop at a few, your taste buds will want more! Now you can eat the popcorn from, the bag, from a bowl, but how about in a recipe. This flavor "bananas popstar", would make great popcorn balls, or add marshmallows to the bowl, mix in a party mix, and so many more.

The second blow from Purplegurl's popcorn & more, is a bag of cheevy cheddar. Now what is unique about the company, is not only the flavors they offer, but the catchy names. And this flavor really grabs you. It's flavors are huge, and taste like a slice of good cheddar cheese, only in kernel form. Definitely no false ingredients here! The flavor of the cheevy cheese popcorn was profoundly elegant. Not to cheesy, not to salty. Each bite was crisp, and each bite had a cheese taste to it. The color on this popcorn was more white then the bananas popster. Now as the other bag, you can use cheevy cheddar popcorn in other recipes. You may opt to spice it up with some type of heat like pepper flakes, maybe add a additional cheese flavor like parmesan, maybe even add a slight pinch of garlic powder. How ever you eat the popcorn, your not going to want to stop, it's that addictive.

Purplegurl's popcorn & more, have so many flavors to choose from. Their hand crafted gourmet popcorn is always air popped in small batches with only the finest of ingredients.
