Climax Jerky Product Review

From Colorado, I received some very unique Jerky today to review. The company is called Climax Jerky. Their story started At the top of the Freemont Pass, across the Climax Mine in 1999. It's their mission to bring just the freshest and finest beef, elk, venison 's specialty jerky products. Now the company has a online shop to purchase this high-quality jerky, as well as a few physical shops. They agree their gourmet Colorado jerky is distinct. Each jerky is made of a whole muscle, never sliced or formed. It's smoked to perfection to make it perfect, that's always juicy and tender. Most of their jerky, is all-natural. It doesn't include any MSG or nitrates-nothing but the finest products are in their Colorado made jerky products.

The first slice of Climax Jerky to try is the Honey Glazed Beef Jerky. The slices are a medium cut, sweet, and just the right texture. Each packed sent you can re seal, to keep the jerky fresh till next time. All the ingredients are natural, and this is what gives it the fresh taste. In each bite you can not only taste the honey, but sweetness from the pineapple juice. This is the perfect snack to have any time, and easy to take on the road. Moving on now to a jerky I have never tasted, was Climax Buffalo jerky. This bag was their original and does come in other flavors. This jerky is made also with all natural ingredients. It is kippered cut of buffalo, nice thick slices and great taste. It is rich in flavor, very earthy tasting. And what's even better is healthier then beef. Buffalo meat is a great protein source, so this jerky could be a great new snack. The texture of the buffalo jerky was very delicious and tender. Slightly sweet, and much lighter then beef flavors. It's also great to know that buffalo meat is much lower in fat, so you don't feel guilty eating it.

For the next jerky to taste from Climax Jerky is their Original Beef Jerky. This as well as the others is made with natural ingredients, and hickory smoked. The slices are tender and thin, and each bite is full of flavors. It is just the perfect chew, and does not stick to your teeth. When you eat it, you feel like it was beef cooked right off a grill. Very fresh and very meaty tasting. It has that smoked to perfection taste, very authentic flavors.

 Now for a another jerky that I have never had is Elk. This is the last bag from Climax Jerky that I saved for last. The slices are a thin cut, and very tender to chew. Again a jerky made with just all natural ingredients, and hickory smoked as well. I could not believe how tender the jerky was. To give you a idea what Elk taste like it is very similar to beef, but with more flavor. You know when eating it, the jerky is very special. There is no gamey flavor to it at all. It does not taste like deer meat at all, in fact the jerky was very lean. It's a very organic meat, and I would definitely try it in other forms.
