Mateo's Gourmet Salsa Product Review

Today's products that I have the opportunity to try are from Mateo's Gourmet Salsa, located in Mansfield, TX. Andrew Robbins, the owner, was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Each of his parents were raised with a passion for cuisine, and their family enjoys authentic Mexican food. Andrew's dad's always had been and still is a salsa enthusiast. Years of experimentation with various spices and ingredients, he developed a salsa that embodies total perfection. They been enjoying it with family and friends for years, and we're happy to share this recipe with the public. Until this day, most of the people who try their salsa absolutely enjoys it!!

For dinner I made a two quick and easy recipes, with Mateo's Gourmet Salsa.

First up I slow cooked some chicken in the crock-pot and near the end added Mateo's gourmet salsa, medium heat. The salsa gave a burst of flavor to the chicken. Mateo's Gourmet salsa is made with red wine vinegar, spices, and lemon juice concentrate, a very fresh and natural ingredient product. The heat level was very tolerable, nothing over bearing at all. Just one taste of this salsa will have you wanting more, it's that good. In every bite, you can taste the homemade love that was put into it. The texture of the salsa is perfect, blended just to the right consistency. Not to chunky, yet not to thin. All the ingredients created a fresh tasting salsa, that will work in many recipes. If you serve this in a bowl with some tortilla chips, your family or guests will think you made it. That's because it has that homemade taste, in every bite.

For a side dish to go with my slow cooked salsa recipe, I made a baked potato with black beans, cheese, and topped it with some more salsa. This alone was enough for a meal. It complimented the baked potato as a great condiment. MateoGourmet Salsa can be used for so much more then just serving it on chips.
