Merle Maple Review

In Attica, New York, there is a Maple farm, that is run by a family for over a century. From the maple products they produce, they offer not only maple syrup but other maple items. From maple granulated sugar to dog treats, yes they make maple doggie biscuits. They even offer a maple weekend, so everyone can enjoy what else "Maple". There are tours, hayrides, and a great store to visit. You will learn just how the great maple products are made. And will even get to taste samples of their maple.

Now today, I get to try these wonderful products, that they we're so gracious to send.

Thru the day from breakfast to dinner, I will be incorporating the Merle Maple gems, into my meals.

To start the day, I made a nice spicy six egg omelet using Merle Maple, hot sauce. This was a huge baked omelet topped with the hot sauce after coming out the oven. Everyone enjoyed how the maple hot sauce flavored the omelet. There is a lot going on in this 8oz bottle of Merle's Maple hot sauce. Now, my family like's spicy and hot food, and with this maple hot sauce, that's what they got. But as well as being hot, it also is sweet, and packed with so much flavor. After you try it, you will agree!

After a breakfast like we had, the family took a little break, well they did any way. I continued on, and got the meals prepped for dinner.

First up, was some homemade bake beans from scratch, using the Merle Maple, Bourbon maple syrup. This syrup comes in a bottle that looks similar to a bottle of bourbon, but has some wonderful aged maple syrup inside. This is a barrel aged maple syrup, that is smooth, dark caramel in color, and has a distinct taste of bourbon flavors. It made the homemade baked beans over the top with exceptional taste. I my self used the Aged Bourbon maple syrup for homemade baked beans, but I can think of so many other recipes this would compliment. Take some good butter pecan ice cream for instance, with the Aged Bourbon maple syrup poured over the top. Or some pancakes with butter, even some chicken and waffles. What ever you cook, adding this syrup from Merle maple will rev up your recipe.

Moving on for the main course, I baked some ribs in the oven. Coating the ribs with nothing but the Merle Maple BBQ sauce. All the flavor came from the 17oz sauce and nothing else. Slow cooking the ribs for four hours and basting them with the Merle maple BBQ sauce, made the perfect ribs. And the best part, the BBQ sauce contains no corn syrup. You get all natural, pure goodness in every product. The ribs we're so moist and tasty. The Merle Maple BBQ Sauce is sweet and Smokey, and a little tangy from the chili pepper ingredients. But all in all is a very flavorful BBQ sauce, that can even be used as a condiment for dipping. Merle's BBQ sauce would be great on pork, chicken, or even some pulled pork sandwich's. Any recipe you choose, your meal will come out with a ton of flavor.

So to end our evening, what better way, then a good hot cup of coffee, and some sticky buns, made with what else, Merle Maple cinnamon maple spread. This just makes your mouth water saying it! After the buns came out the oven I only gave them a few minutes to cool, then loaded the top with the Merle Maple cinnamon maple spread. It was a dessert, from the heavens above. The texture of the cinnamon maple spread was similar to peanut butter, but only made of pure maple. Easy to spread, or spoon out, and so velvety. Watching the spread melt on top of the buns, well you just want to dive in. The taste was so decedent, sweet, and tasted like maple with cinnamon over tones. The Merle Maple cinnamon maple spread, would be fun to watch melt in many recipes, hot toast, a hot bagel, or even just used as a dip. What ever food you try it on, you will not be disappointed. You can use it on top of your recipes, or use it inside, the taste and flavor will be the same, FANTASTIC!
