Natural Hi Honey Review

From Hilo, Hawaii today, I received two bottles of raw honey, and four bars of bees wax. This came from the company Natural Hi Honey, how exciting. It's always so interesting to learn about how products came to be. This is the story of Natural Hi Honey.

Natural Hi Honey bloomed, in the spring of 2019, as a hobby that has now become a passion. Born and bred in Hilo, agriculture was also of immense value to each of them, and they feel that they have now discovered the chance to have a meaningful impression on Hawaii's agricultural environment. Their honey is local, raw, and Natural Hawaiian!

Some info on honey bee's from Hawaii. Hawaii ranks second in the US for pounds of honey hives. They have diverse plants that have year round forage, this makes production of honey a great place. Queen bees are home to the larges producers in Hawaii, and are even shipped to Canada.

For dinner I used from Natural Hi Honey, the 16oz jar of Hawaiian creamed honey, to make garlic honey pork chops. This honey is thick and smooth, and made a wonderful glaze to the meat. I have never had creamed honey before, and it was a wonderful first time trying it. The exceptionally creamy texture, is so unique and delicate, with a tropical flavor. It was a fantastic ingredient in my recipe. The honey tones float on your tongue, with subtle rich tropical flavors that you will remember. This creamed honey would also be great to sweeten beverages, or use in other cooking recipes that call for sugar. If you’re a ice tea drinker, this would make a perfect addition to your ice tea for sure. So many ideas come to mind!

The second jar of honey is a medium size mason jar 16oz, lite. This honey from Natural Hi Honey is rich and thick. It is smooth, and taste delicious. There is a floral over tone to the honey, and has a rich amber color. In short it is sweet, and you also taste the various nectars of Hawaii's fruiting species of bees.  So I made for our dessert tonight, a honey pineapple upside down cake. Paired with pineapple and honey, I would say dessert was a hit. This honey from Natural Hi Honey, is a true homemade delicacy they should be proud of.

Also Natural Hi Honey sent four bars of their Hawaiian beeswax, a 1/2 lb all together. So cute, I could see these as a gift for any honey lover. There is so many things you can use from bees wax. You can use them in crafts, make candles, soap, lotions, the ideas are endless. The wax bars are all natural just like their all their products. Bees wax has many benefits, treating diaper dermatitis, as a skin moisturizer, clears acne, and so much more. It's natural and safe to use. So if you are a crafty person, you will love these cute bees wax's from Natural HiHoney. They also make cute items for party favors!
