Regina's Farm Kitchen Fruit Spread Review

Today, like Regina from "Regina's Farm Kitchen", I am going to be inspired to cook        some recipes, including her Fig Orange Black Pepper fruit spread.

This is the product I received today, a jar of Regina's Farm Kitchen fig orange black pepper artisan fruit spread. Now I have had fresh figs, fig jam, but this is my first taste at fir orange black pepper. But I am excited to try it in my recipes today. But first a little back story on how Regina's Farm Kitchen Started.

This is how Regina Nekola Hild, had a calling to be back in the kitchen, after a very successful past, as far as employment. Regina founded Regina 's Farm Kitchen in her family kitchen in Dunwoody, GA, in 2016. Regina 's Farm Kitchen emphasizes unrestrained quality throughout the hands-on process of sourcing, producing, packaging and labeling, their small batch, artisan jams, spreadable fruits and delicious baked goods. At Regina's Farm Kitchen, they believe in local sourcing, buying from the finest suppliers available in Georgia. Georgia-grown production is always their priority and the first choice in produce. Regina's Farm Kitchen, is a proud members of Georgia Grown!

Regina's Farm Kitchen sent over to me a jar of their FigOrange Black Pepper fruit spread, and I am going to incorporate it into three dish's. This particular fruit spread is a seasonal flavor, made with fresh crack black pepper, figs, and orange flavors.

The first thought was to incorporate the Fig Orange Black Pepper fruit spread into my dinner meal. And first up was a appetizer of goat cheese fig orange black pepper, on bruschetta. When you first open the jar it smells so inviting, with a aroma of not one but all the ingredients. The fig orange black pepper fruit spread, paired wonderfully with the goat cheese. A little dollop went a long way, and was enjoyed by everyone at the dinner table. In each bite of the bruschetta, you could taste nothing but the yummy taste of this homemade product. Who would ever think to add black pepper to a fig fruit spread. But guess what it works, and does not over power the fig taste. All the ingredients are beautifully melded. The taste is sweet and savory at the same time, and with cheese it was over the top delicious.

Continuing on, I decided to top my baked chicken quarters with the Regina's Farm Kitchen Fig Orange Black Pepper fruit spread. Great Idea! As far as seasoning for my chicken dish, there was only a pinch of sea salt on each quarter, and near the end of the cooking, a dollop of the FigOrange Black Pepper fruit spread. The fruit spread gave my dish a very unique taste, and made it look very fancy. You still tasted the sweet and savory Fig Orange Black Pepper fruit spread, in every bite. It glazed the chicken, and held its consistency very well. This fruit spread is paired very well not only with cheese, trying it with other foods works just as well.

The last recipe I wanted to try with the Regina's Farm Kitchen Fig Orange Black Pepper fruit spread, was as a added ingredient in a sticky fig pudding. And it worked! The sticky fig pudding came out and was super moist, and the combo of ingredients of the Fig Orange Black Pepper fruit spread, added all the flavor. It made my cake like recipe burst with so much taste and aromas, you could not wait to dive in for a bite. I served it warm which was even better, and this, brought the taste of the fruit spread out even more. All through my sticky fig pudding when it was sliced you could see the fig seeds, you could taste the hint of oranges, and you got the savory taste of the black pepper. To say the least it was the hit of the night.
