Kona's Chips Review

My fur baby today got some special doggie treats to try, and they passed the test.

The treats come from Kona's chips, named after a beautiful black Pomeranian. The company is named after Kona, because that's how it started in the first place. After eating treats from China, Kona became very ill. So after finding out that chicken breast treats from China, were making doggies sick, Kona's owner decided to make her own treats.

That’s when the hunt was on to see if here, in the US, if there were any American made dried chicken breast for dogs to have as a treat. There were NONE! So Kona's chips was born.

Happy to report that after treatment, Kona is now well.

Let me share with you a quote from Kona's chips. And after reading, pet owners will read labels on their fur babies treats and foods, just like you would read labels for what you are eating!

The Three Little Words — “Madein China”:

Next time you are looking at jerky treats at a pet food store, search the label for the three little words: “Made in China”. Often very small, packaging can be misleading. Appearing as a USA product because the product is imported and packed in the United States, an American company name and address is often displayed prominently. Look very carefully and you will most likely find in very small letters, those three little words: “Made in China”.

When we first began our quest, I asked our local pet store owner if she stocked any dried chicken breast treats which were not from China. “We don’t carry any products from China,” she responded. I took her to her own shelf display and we looked at each package, which if inspected closely, all contained those three little words: “Made in China”. She was amazed!

Kona's chips sent over to sample packs for my fur baby to try, and before I even got them open, he was smelling the bag and excited. And they passed the fur baby test, he loved them!

Kona's chips, only use's USDA chicken for their jerky snacks for dogs, that have been not only inspected but approved. The chicken breasts come from Ca. and TX. It is the same chicken you would put in your own mouth to eat. This goes for the turkey and beef snacks as well.

It's a scary thought that we don't read our pets food labels to see what is in it and where does it come from. We do it for ours, well most of us do. I know I do after having two strokes. Pet food and treats are more easy to read as far as the label. Your only looking for three words, Made in China, or Product of China. So you aren't looking long, and it's worth it.

This is another quote from Kona's chips, on how to raise awareness to other pet owners. Let's spread the word and help other fur babies out there.

Kona’s Chips mission is to raise awareness about the dangers of chicken jerky pet treats produced from foreign sources. Of course, pet owners would not knowingly feed their dogs harmful treats. There are many stories of dogs who have become ill or died and only later did their owners make the connection to tainted products. Our puppy Kona was a victim too, and thus Kona’s Chips were born. Please help us to raise awareness by mentioning this to all pet owners you know, regardless if you mention Kona’s Chips or not, it is important to get the word out so that helpless, innocent dogs don’t suffer needlessly. Particularly, elderly pet owners or those who do not use the internet should be advised.

With Kona's chips there is no worry, being crafted with your pets health in mind. You will have peace of mind that what is going into your pets mouth is safe, even for your puppies.

Kona's chips come in many flavors to choose from, and to start you can get sample packs. They are available online, and in pet stores, and on Amazon Prime.

There is a wealth of information on Kona's website as well, worth the read!

Please visit Kona's chips and grab some for your fur baby. Don't take my word for it, take your pets!
