Autumn Berry Inspired Product Review

 

Today is another first for me as far as reviewing a product. Today's product, that I will be tasting is from, Autumn Berry Inspired, and they are a jam and a jelly made with Autumn berries.

 

If you are like me and do not know what a Autumn Berry is, let me tell you just a few facts. The Autumn Berry is a small, red fruit of the Autumn Olive. It comes from trees, with ivory flowers and silver green leaves. Each berry has a sweet and tart taste when they become fully ripened, in the fall season. And they are a very versatile fruit as well, that can be used many ways.

 

The company itself, AutumnBerry Inspired, has been working with food artisans in Central Illinois, Chicago to create mouthwatering Autumn Berry foods, such as jam, and jelly, like I was sent. But also you can find Autumn Berry products such as donuts, cream cheese spreads, and many more products.

 

I was so excited to try the jam and jelly sent over, so let me tell you about the luscious desserts I made with them.

First up was Autumn Berry Inspired cheesecake. I used the Autumn Berry Jelly, for the top coating of the graham cracker crust. This handmade, homemade Autumn Berry Jelly, was so lip smacking good. It was the perfect balance between sweet and tart. It truly was nectar to everyone's taste buds. The ingredients in the jar are: wild autumn berry puree. pure cane sugar, water, fruit pectin, citric acid, calcium. Not only do you get a big asset from these berries, but a varied array of health benefits as well as culinary uses. You can compare their taste to a cranberry or maybe even a pomegranate. They definitely give your palate a zing. And paired in a cheesecake, it was very sophisticated.

The next jar from Autumn Berry Inspired, was their Autumn Berry Jam. Like the Autumn Berry jelly, the color of both were stunning, dark and rich. The jam also gave you the sweet taste of cranberries and pomegranate. You don't have to just use the jam for toast, you can get very creative with it. For my choice of using it, I decided to make a brie appetizer, topping it with Autumn Berry Jam. It came out as a very exquisite dessert, fit for a Queen. The jam, was made in small batch's, which when made this way always produce's a product with freshness, and great quality. The jam is seedless, very smooth, and very easy to use. The ingredients are: wild autumn berry puree. pure cane sugar, water, fruit pectin, citric acid, calcium.
