Spice Isle Sauces product review

If you love the taste of tropical Caribbean flavors, you are going to love the products I am sharing with you today.

From Lincoln, NE, I was sent several sauces and rubs, to try. And the company behind these wonderful treasures is, Spice Isle Sauces. The owners Steve and Heidi Nolan, fell in love with the Caribbean flavors after their travels to the Island. Now the fine owners of a restaurant on the island of Providenciales in the Turks, and one in the Caicos islands.

These products truly bring you that true tropical flavors, that are all gluten free, and full of flavor. There are sauces, for grilling, and marinating, and there are seasoning and rubs, for all types of food. Then there is a amazing sauce with tamarind. A wonderful flavor of tropical fruit flavors. And if you love jerk flavors, they have that as well.

With that being said let me tell you how I used the products from, Spice Isle Sauces.

The day started with breakfast, and first up was a steak omelet with sautéed veggies. The steak was seasoned with one thing only, the jerk rub from Spice Isle Sauces. Usually this is popular on chicken, but it's so amazing on all types of dish's. It really brought a true tropical Caribbean flavor to my egg dish. With ingredients of,  Scotch Bonnet Pepper, it really brought the heat and authentic jerk taste. This is a very versatile seasoning and rub, that is gluten free and msg free.

To go with the omelet I made some roasted potatoes and seasoned them with, Spice Isle tropical seasoning and rub. That was all that needed to bring out the most divine flavor to the potatoes. You have the taste of fruit and tamarind that you might not think goes with potatoes, but you would be so wrong. They were amazing! This seasoning and rub from, Spice Isle Sauces can be used along with any of the sauces. Use it as a seasoning and rub for meats and chicken, fish as well.

As we move on to lunch, it was just as amazing, using the products from, Spice Isle Sauces. I made some tropical shrimp tacos with pineapple and coated both the shrimp and pineapple with the tropical jerk sauce. The sauce makes you feel like you are eating food at a tropical destination. There is a nice heat and flavor of the Caribbean with scotch bonnet peppers, and other sweet flavors of Caribbean spices. The mixture of the herbs, the peppers and the spices bring flavors to your food that are finger licking good. Also giving it a nice reddish color as well.

On the side, I made some homemade tortilla chips and coated them with, Spice Isle Sauces, tropical heat seasoning and rub. Again tropical fruits make up the seasoning and rub, and there is habanero and scotch bonnet peppers for the heat. Again this is a very versatile product, that would be great on burgers, fish, and many other dish's that you want to bring some flavor and heat to. It also brought a nice color to my homemade chips, for a nice eye appeal. The flavor is very unique, and you will wonder how you ever missed cooking without these products.

For dinner I started the evening off with a nice appetizer, spring rolls and dipping sauce. The sauce was, Spice Isle Sauces, tropical tamarind. Talk about amazing, everyone could not get enough. This is a real gourmet sauce for sure, and very versatile as well. You get a nice fruity flavor profile, and some sweetness as well. You can use it for a dip, or as a glaze for many meats, poultry, or seafood. But its up to you to get creative. If your not familiar with tamarind, it is a tropical fruit, that also has health benefits. Around the world, this tropical fruit is used. The sauce is fruity and sweet, and easy to fall in love with. You will not want to stop eating it for sure.

For my ribs, I used, Spice Isle, tropical heat gourmet sauce, and coated all the ribs, before and after cooking them. And then piled them on a bed of cole slaw salad. This is a perfect BBQ flavored sauce, very versatile as well. It has for heat some habanero pepper and jalapeno paste. It paired perfectly with the pork ribs I made, but would also go great as a dip for some steamed shrimp. Really takes you to the tropics! You can use this sauce for BBQ, baking, and also as a condiment.

If your looking for some wonderful Caribbean flavors to add to your dish's, head over to the website, or Amazon and grab some Spice Isle Sauces, or seasonings and rub. Your palate will thank you.
