Stamatopoulos and Sons Product Review

 

I am so excited to tell you about my amazing dish's I made today, with family owned products.

 


What are they, olive oils, dipping herbs, and amfissa olives.




The products are from a Greekfamily that has been making extra virgin olive oil for centuries. From their estate, to our tables, they offer, these fine products, so you can be your own olive oil connoisseur. It's now time to share, the truly amazing dish's, made with Stramatopoulos and Sons products!





First up, was a nice appetizer, made with Stamatopoulos and Sons, amphissa olives in olive oil. And with them I made a sophisticated canapé. The olives are so amazing, they are silky smooth, and infused with fresh garlic. They have a wonderful fruity flavor when you bite into them. And the olive oil, takes their flavor over the top. Amphissa olives, are a lovely green color, and are very versatile in recipes. They make a wonderful addition to appetizers, but also served with cheese, or in soups. The amfissa is also popular in Greek olive oil, for it's briny and buttery taste. And as for the canapé, they tasted like a five star restaurant made them.





For a second appetizer, I used the, Stamatopoulos and Sons, bread dip, with some toasted baguette slices. A Greek style dry dip, made with oregano, basil, thyme, savory, marjoram, and rosemary. All you add is some olive oil, for a delicious dip. If you want to add some heat, you can add some dry pepper flakes. Other then that, every thing you need is in the lovely tin container.






After both appetizers and a little break, I served a nice salad with feta, and drizzled the delicate Stamatopoulos and Sons olive oil over top. The extra virgin olive oil, is reserve fresh, and very delicate. This is a product that is imported directly from the family owned olive farm in the region of Kalamata Greece. The olives for the oil are hand picked and cold pressed. The olive oil is not mixed, diluted, or filtered, ensuring only the finest olive oil possible. The flavor is rich, sophisticated, with a light fresh ending. It made for a wonderful dressing on top of the salad, but also would be wonderful for cooking, baking, and pairing with seafood's, and butters. Every taste of the olive oil, you enjoy the true artisan flavor. There is no bitter beginning or ending to the olive oil. You will definably want to add this to your kitchen staples.





The main course was pasta with olive oil, garlic and butter, topped with a parsley garnish. The olive oil, was Stamatopoulos and Sons infused olive oil, with garlic. It gave all the flavor to the pasta dish, and I just added some extra slivers of fresh garlic. It is light and buttery, and has the perfect balance of garlic flavoring. It truly made my dish taste, like a professional cook was in my kitchen today. A very wonderful, versatile olive oil, with a balance of well combined herb and spices.
