Mozna Chocolate Product Review

 

If you have never tasted bean to bar chocolate, you don't know what your missing. Today, I get to do just that, taste some bean to bar chocolate products from the company, MoznaChocolate. Located in Hidalgo Texas.

Mozna was formed in 2015, creating high quality dark chocolate, Mozna chocolate. It is a artisan bean to bar chocolate that is not only amazing in flavor, but has beneficial nutrients as well. Mozna is, Polish for, just do it. The beans come from six countries, Colombia, India, Mexico, Tanzania, Venezuela, and Vietnam. All the products from, Mozna use two ingredients, cane sugar and cacao beans. This brings the taste and the heavenly flavor. Only the finest of the cacao beans are used, this is what brings the wonderful products.

There's a lot to share with you, about my family's night of chocolate tasting and creating, so lets get started!

First up was tasting the, Mozna, 70 percent cacao chocolate bar-Venezuela. This delicious bean to bar chocolate, is made with cacao beans from the village of Cuyagua, its on the coast of Aragua state. When you take a piece of the chocolate off the bar, you savor it in your mouth like a fine wine. You then will enjoy the nutty and fruity flavor, that has a amazing note of caramel and coffee. Cacao from Venezuela is, rich and dark and the country has the worlds a high quality of cacao. The 70 percent means the amount of weight that comes from ground up cacao beans, in addition to the butter. I took the rest of the bar and shaved it on top of some chocolate cupcakes that we baked, for some additional exquisite flavor.

The next tasting was the 70 percent cacao chocolate bar-Colombia. This is a bar that is made with cacao beans from, Finca el Triunfo. A farm that is located near the eastern cordillera in Central Colombia. The flavor profile is hints of prunes, nice and sweet, and nutty at the same time. As it melts in your mouth it is very creamy, and divine.

For the 70 percent cacao chocolate bar-India, I melted it down and dipped some baked churros into it. The combo of the sweet churros and the bean to bar chocolate paired perfectly. This bar is crafted using cacao beans from, Anamalai Farm, which is located by the city of Pollachi, in South India. Where cacao beans are known for their high quality. With the sugar from the churros and the bean to bar flavor, you get a nice dessert. The cacao chocolate gives you a nice nutty taste, as well as a fruity taste, and then a hint of caramel and coffee notes.

Moving on to the 70 percent cacao chocolate bar-Mexico, from Mozna. It is from cacao beans located in Comalcalco, in the state of Tabasco. Each bite gives you the creamy and dreamy flavor of prune, honey and a nice caramel note. Very well balanced in flavor and texture. You can eat it, or melt it down and use it in a recipe. How every you choose to use it, you palate will never forget the wild and lively flavor upon your palate.

Another country that cacao beans come from, is Tanzania, and this was the next bean to bar tasted, from Mozna. A wonderful tasting bar with a savory earthy taste, then notes of  plum and berries. The beans for this bar come from the village of Mbingu. It's so amazing to learn of these countries and the wonderful flavors that come from them. This is truly as all the products, artesian chocolates. The aroma and the notes of this cacao bean to bar, are truly amazing. The sleek dark chocolate bar is a real treat. A true exotic confection.

Cupcakes and icing using the bean to bar, 70 percent Vietnam dak lak was next. Melting it down and adding some to the base of the cupcake mix, and the rest into the icing, was the most divine dessert. This bean to bar from, Mozna gets the cacao beans from the province of Dak Lak, which is located in Central Highlands. Your taste buds will enjoy the tangy citrus flavor of the bar, with a fruity note along with raisins and caramel. This beans for this bar are so amazing, they date back to the cacao trees back to the 19th century. It hasn't been until lately that Vietnam has evolved in the craft of fine chocolate.

Now for the 65 percent chocolate coconut cacao, I melted it down into a nice coconut cookie and even added more fresh grated coconut flakes. What I was left with was a wonderful cookie, that just melted in your mouth. This bar from, Mozna is made with true real cacao. Its light and sweet flavor will surely leave your palate with wonderful culinary taste.

I used the 65 percent orange cacao shaved on top of some pancakes. This bar is orange made with real cacao, and burst so much with a nice citrus flavor in every bite. You can eat it or use it in any dish, that you would like to create having a nice citrus flavor. Every bite gives you a refreshing taste of smooth dark chocolate with the ripe flavor of orange. All through the bar you can see the fruit peels of the fresh orange as well. And the taste is just nectar to your lips.

A nice break was needed, but not stopping tasting the products. Just a nice smoothie to continue on, using the sapodilla bar and some fresh fruit. From, Mozna this is another 65 percent cacao chocolate bar. It is also made with real cacao, and taste amazing. If you’re a chocolate lover, you will love all these products. And when you taste this bar from, Mozna you are on a culinary adventure. Sapodilla is a fruit that is soft and sweet, and added to chocolate, it taste like you are eating a chocolate covered pear. Its so refreshing. A wonderful tropical smoothie is what came from this bar.

Mozna is also the crafter of some delicious keto bars, three all together. The first that the family and I tasted was the chocolate keto bar-almond. This bar is also made with real cacao, and loaded with almonds. Each bite is sugar free, so any one is able to enjoy this bar as a treat, or in between meal hold over. Its keto and sugar free, and made with nine grams of protein in each bar. The taste is refreshing and delectable on the palate. Mozna wanted to include some healthy bars such as these keto's and protein bars, and they perfected finger licking good ones.

The next chocolate keto bar is coconut. Again made with real cacao and sugar free. It's great to have some wonderful tasting sugar free bars, that satisfy your chocolate cravings. This bar also has nine grams of protein in each bite. You will love the flavor of the chocolate and coconut combo. The flavor is so delicious, you won't stop wanting to eat it.

The last keto bar is the, Mozna chocolate keto bar-orange. Again this bar is made also with real cacao and has no sugar. Not only great for those on a keto diet, but for those on any diet. You get nice grams of protein as well in this bar. You just fall in love with the chocolate and orange flavor. And ingredients you can trust. They are easy to grab and go, and easy to pack for a lunch or road trip. With the amount of fat and carbs in the bars, you can't go wrong.

Mozna Chocolate also sent over three of their protein bars, and the first to try was the pecan with coconut. This bar is pecans that are totally covered in chocolate protein and coconut. Also all the protein bars are made with real cacao and are sugar free. Every bar is just 10 grams of protein and great for any diet you may be on. These protein bars are a healthy snack, or treat for any age to. Eat one also as a meal replacement.

The taste of protein bars continues on with, Mozna Chocolate protein covered almonds. A bar with almonds totally surrounded in real cacao chocolate. Keto friendly and sugar free, and 10 grams of protein. It doesn't get any more delicious then this, for any dieter out there. Every bite you take, you are eating a healthy guilt free bar. Who wouldn't love that!

The next to the last protein bar from, Mozna is their coconut bar-22g. This bar is not only healthy, and guilt free, but has the most intense delicious flavor to it. Coconut and real cacao is what makes up this bar, and it to is sugar free. You get the best of both food groups, tropical and chocolate. Everyone in the family really enjoyed this bar, and it’s a wonderful treat for any diet you are on, especially if you have diabetes, because it sugar free.

The protein bars end with,Mozna orange bar 22g. Another healthy treat, that taste delicious in every bite you take.

To end the evening of fine bean to bar chocolate, I made some yummy tasting hot chocolates, with products sent over from, Mozna Chocolate.

The first cup was, Mexican style stone ground chocolate-almond. A round chuck of chocolate that you break into pieces and melt into milk for a delicious almond flavor hot chocolate. The chocolate is also made from real cacao, and is nectar to your lips. Rich and dark and so flavorful. The round disk is aromatic as soon as you unwrap it. In each slice there are fresh roasted almonds along with some sea salt ground right in. A nice cozy ending to any evening.

The next cup was from Mozna Chocolates as well, and was the Mexican style stone ground chocolate-cinnamon. This round disk of chocolate was also crafted with real cacao. You get the taste of cinnamon in every sip. And to make a cup is super easy. Brake a piece off of the disk, melt in some warm milk, and you have a delicious drink any time of the year.

The last cup of hot chocolate was Mozna Mexican style stone ground chocolate-orange. Again you have a good size disk, ready to break of pieces, that is made with real cacao. This flavor puts a new spin on your cup of hot chocolate, a new twist to a classic flavor. If you love a chocolate and orange combo you will really fall in love with this flavor of hot chocolate. A real chocolate lovers dream. Every sip, you get not only the rich deep chocolate taste, but a nice citrus note.
