Cinnamon streusel crumb topping atop an apple coffee cake. It's alright to lick your lips; this is a tasty, quick-to-prepare dish. Handcrafted with only a few ingredients, it's the ideal recipe to pair with coffee, tea, or even a cup of hot cocoa.

Ingredients

1 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour + 1 Tablespoon Divided

3/4 Cup Sugar

2 teaspoon Baking Powder

1 Egg

1/2 Cup Milk

1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil

1 Apple Large

Streusel Topping

1/3 Cup Brown Sugar

2 Tablespoon Flour All Purpose Flour

1 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

1 1/2 Tablespoon Butter Melted

Instructions

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup sugar, and 2 teaspoons baking powder in a large mixing bowl Combine the dry ingredients and make a well in the center.

Combine 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 egg, and 1/2 cup milk in a mixing bowl. Using a big spoon, blend all of the ingredients until well combined. The mixture will be thick, similar to muffin batter.

Slice, peel, and core the apple, then cut into small pieces using an Apple Peeler.

Toss apples with 1 tablespoon flour to mix. This prevents the apples from falling to the cake's bottom.

Pour the cake batter into a 9-by-9-inch oiled glass baking dish.

Streusel Topping: In a separate dish, add 1/3 cup Brown Sugar, 2 Tablespoons Flour, and 1 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon and whisk to incorporate.

1 1/2 Tablespoon melted butter is added and mixed together. The finished product will be a moist crumble.

Place the crumble mixture on top of the cake.

Bake at 375°F for 22-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean.
