Pressure Cooker Swiss Steak

When you're searching for the ultimate family comfort food, go no further than this Instant Pot Swiss Steak Recipe. In your Instant Pot, you adore utilizing Round Steak. It's a delicious cut of beef that goes well with your Swiss Steak Recipe.

Giving you delicate meat, tomatoes, and a taste that will transport you back to childhood family dinners around the table.

Ingredients

1 Lb Round Steak

4 Tbs Flour

1 tsp Lawreys Season Salt

1/2 tsp Pepper

3 Tbs Olive Oil

1 1 lb Can Stewed Tomatoes

1 Celery Stalk

1/2 Cup Onion

1/2 Green Bell Pepper

1 Red Bell Pepper

1/2 Cup Beef Broth

1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

Combine the flour, seasoning salt, and pepper in a Ziploc bag.

Cut the meat into tiny chunks and drop the steak pieces in the flour-filled bag.

Seal the bag and shake vigorously to coat all of the meat chunks.

Turn your instant pot to sauté and wait until the temperature says "hot."

Pour 3 tablespoons of cooking oil into the pressure cooker and make sure it stays "hot."

Set the steak pieces in the heated oil and cook for 2-3 minutes per side.

Whenever the steak is brown, take it from the instant pot and turn it off.

Scrape anything clinging to the sides and bottom of the pressure cooker with the canned stewed tomatoes and beef broth. This is known as deglazing, and it is required to remove all of the attached bits. Fortunately, they should all be easy to remove with a wooden spoon or scraper.

Return the steak pieces to the pressure cooker.

Cut your celery, onion, and bell pepper into dice.

Place the vegetables in the pressure cooker.

Configure your pressure cooker to pressure cook manual high for 25 minutes, followed by a 10-minute natural release.

If you prefer, you may serve this Swiss Steak with rice or potatoes.

Top with melted cheese.
