Tiger Nuts USA Product Review

I got to try some really interesting products today, that I have never heard of or eaten.

The company, that sent these amazing products, is called Tiger Nuts USA, which comes from the company Spanish growers.

These nuts go all the way back to 4000 years ago, Cavemen times. Now Jim and his wife want to inspire others to live and eat healthy, and experience, Tiger Nuts.

Tiger nuts are also known as, chufa nuts or earth almonds. They were cultivated centuries ago, and now making a forefront, especially for, Tiger Nuts USA.

There is a wealth of goodness in these nuts. Tiger nuts are also "rich in magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, vitamins C and E," and some sources claim they can aid to prevent cellular aging by combating harmful free radicals, managing blood pressure, and supporting digestive health.

To describe them, they are a marble size nut, that is chewy and taste somewhat like almond or pecan. After looking into these, Tiger Nuts, I found they are nuts at all, but edible tubers.

So it was a very interesting day, learning and cooking with Tiger Nuts.

First up was a tiger nut mocha smoothie for breakfast, with the smoothie mix sent over. It has added protein and is gluten and nut-free, also keto and paleo-friendly. Tiger Nuts Smoothie Mix is a potent smoothie enhancer that aids in the strengthening of your immune system. The mix of prebiotic fiber and high-energy protein helps you regulate your cravings and feel satisfied for longer. SUGGESTIONS FOR VEGANS: Vegans will undoubtedly like the Tiger Nuts Smoothie Mix. It is extremely healthy seeing as they are nut-free, lactose-free, non-GMO, cholesterol-free, dairy-free, and allergen-free. You can add any flavor to your smoothie that you wish to.

Tiger Nuts USA also sent over some olive oil. And for dinner used it for a nice baked fish, with olive oil and lemon. The Tiger Nut olive oil is a premium cold press organic olive oil, that has the quality of Tiger Nut itself. It takes a lot of Tiger Nuts to process this olive oil, but the end result is amazing and very flavorful.

I also did some baking with the products I received, but while doing so, made a nice drink. With peeled Tiger Nuts, I made a Spanish-style horchata de chufa. The Tiger Nuts already came peeled so using them in the blender was easy. The drink was very tasty, with a nice nutty flavor and Spanish flair.

One of the most well-known uses of tiger nuts is in the preparation of horchata de chufa, a Spanish drink. Horchata de chufa is a sweet and creamy drink prepared from soaked tiger nuts, water, and sugar. To increase taste, cinnamon and lemon zest are sometimes added to the drink. Below is a basic recipe for chufa de horchata. I hope you enjoy it as I did.

Soak 1 cup washed tiger nuts in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours, or until softened.

Extract the nuts and combine them with 4 cups of water and up to 1/4 cup of sugar in a food processor or blender. Skip the sugar if you want to create unsweetened tiger nut milk.

Mix the ingredients at high speed until it is homogeneous. The liquid should then be strained through a cheesecloth-lined sieve into a large basin or jug.

To add flavor, whisk in a pinch of cinnamon powder and lemon zest.

Pour the mixture from the bowl or jug into glasses and top with a few ice cubes. Enjoy right now.

With the slice Tiger Nuts, from Tiger Nuts USA, I made some tiger nut pumpkin cookies. The texture and taste were truly amazing. The slicing of the Tiger Nuts already done for you makes them so easy to bake with. You can use them in your salads, to your cereal. Every bite you take, you can rest assured you are eating healthy.

Next, I made some coconut bread, with the Tiger Nut Flour. This flour is also, gluten-free, non-GMO, and paleo. It is high in fiber and wonderful to bake with. It is very versatile, and you will really enjoy the crunchy texture it gives your baked recipes. From cookies to pie crusts, it is perfect to use.

The last thing for the evening I baked was some jam thumbprint cookies with, Tiger Nuts, that were chopped. These nuts made a nice crunchy jam thumbprint cookie, but would also be great in a smoothie, or even to make a nice trail mix.

If your interested in trying, Tiger Nuts, head over to the website or Amazon. You will find these products very interesting.
