What a treat I received today, some real artisan macarons, from Shareden Sweet Confections. Based in Michigan, this business began as a family-owned cottage food bakeshop and is now available to us.

Shareden Sweet Confections makes these sophisticated and delicate macarons from patisserie techniques learned from internationally renowned pastry chefs, combined with SSC family-owned recipes. This is what makes them very unique confections.

What I received from SSC was their special signature collection of six mixed macarons, ready in a pretty gift box. Inside the box is an amazing collection of macarons. There is Pistachio Honey, Bananas Foster, Praline Pecan, Coconut Cream, Vanilla Bean, and Belgian Chocolate.

Each macaron is perfectly made, and the artisan filling is made up of premium ingredients with flavors that dance on your taste buds.

Every macaron made from SSC is handcrafted to perfection, with flavors of their inspired family's French-Creole heritage. The flavors are rich and decadent, with nothing artificial about them. Every bite of a Shareden Sweet Confection is heavenly, the flavor of the macaron just burst in your mouth. You can truly taste the flavor of that particular macaron is. If it's pistachio, that is what you taste.

Looking at SSC macarons, you see how perfect the shell is, and the decadent filling beneath the surface. The macarons are not crunchy or hard, just true artisan confections. They have a slight crunch with a nice chewy texture, the perfect one bite elegant dessert. The cookie to filling ratio is spot on, just like a macaron should be.
