You don't need to be Italian, like me to enjoy some really delicious and authentic Italian cookies and pastries. And today I get to enjoy a tin of cookies and peppermint candy from Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop-Little Italy!

The bakery is located in Baltimore, MD and there they are the top manufacturer of what else? Fine Italian pastries and more.

Gioacchino Vaccaro started this establishment way back in 1956, and today is run by Nick Vaccaro and going strong. The pastry shop is a family tradition and still creates confections with the same old-world recipes from, Italy. Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop-Little Italy offers so much, from cannoli's to gelato. You can sit down and enjoy what they have to offer, or have it shipped to you. No matter how you will still enjoy these Italian specialties.

As far as cookies, Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop, offers more than thirty different varieties, including biscotti.

There is  Sliced Almond, Pignoli, Amaretti, and Red Cherry Macaroons. They will even make a cookie if you don't see it offered, how great is that.

The tin of Italian cookies was filled with Vaccaro's homemade confections. The best part if your giving a gift, is the tin is filled and ready. That's if you can part with them!

My tin was also filled with Italian cookies and peppermint candy. Cookies such as Vaccaro's famous Sliced Almond, Pignoli, Amaretti, Red Cherry, Chocolate Swirl Shortbread, Lemon Drop, & Italian Strudel.

Every cookie you bite into you taste the love! They are so amazing, you just can't stop at one.

The pignoli cookies are lip-smacking good, you taste the Italian classic cookie that they are. They are a delicate cookie with an amazing fragrance. The Amaretti cookies are divine, light, and intense with a sweet almond flavor. They have a nice chew to them as well. And the rest of the cookies in the tin, well let's just say there's not many left. They are sophisticated and so authentic, you will truly enjoy them.
