Austin Chile Crisp Review

Today's product is a first for me, but I am really excited to try it. The product is chile crips and comes from the company, Austin Chile Crisp, located in Spicewood, Texas.

Their story is amazing, and as you will read going further so was their product.

Since you've never tried Chile Crisp, it really is probably the best condiment you haven't tried yet. Although extremely popular in China, a similar type of salsa known as "Salsa Macha" has long been popular in Mexico's Veracruz area. This version is a global mashup that features the Morita Chile pepper from Mexico and the Aleppo pepper from Turkey. Austin Chile Crisp Co. chooses from a worldwide selection of chiles, and they noticed that the slightly smokey fruity combination of Morita and Aleppo made a fantastic international marriage. To prepare their famous Austin Chile Crisp, they combine onions and garlic, both of which are cooked to perfection.

Austin Chile Crisp is the company's flagship product.

A flexible gourmet combination of two superb Chile peppers in an oil base, with fried onions and garlic. Generally, more flavorful than hot. Probably the finest condiment you've ever tried. Simply spoon it on just about anything you eat.

The ingredients are all-natural and include, canola oil, Aleppo pepper, Morita pepper, fried onion, vegetable oil, and fried garlic.

The best part is, Austin Chile Crisp is made in small batches of batches to not only ensure freshness but quality.

As far as the two peppers, these are the first I heard of them.  The Morita chiles are a sort of dried chipotle pepper with a rich taste. These are prepared from ripe red Jalapenos and are wood smoked for a shorter time than the tan Meco chipotle variant. The Morita has a rich red hue and a somewhat fruity, medium spicy, smokey complex profile. Their taste notes, like a glass of quality wine, have been characterized as having undertones of mild smoke, chocolate, tobacco, plum, fig cherry, blackberry, and raspberry.

Then there is the Aleppo Pepper! This rich, aromatic pepper is found in top cooks' spice racks.

The lovely Mediterranean spice is appreciated for its brilliant moderate heat and taste explosion. Aleppo has fruity undertones with a ruby red hue that is appealing. The high-quality pepper, which has a pleasing scent and flavor, is grown with great care. True spice enthusiasts adore it.

Knowing all of this about, Austin Chile Crisp is what made the day so exciting to get cooking. First up was breakfast!

Incorporating some, Austin Chile Crisp in with a nice fried egg breakfast, was the perfect start to the day. This tangy, spicy, crunchy condiment added all the flavor for the fried egg breakfast. The fine chiles used are what gave it that Asian flavor profile. Then at the end, you get a hint of smoky flavor on your palate. This Austin Chile Crisp will become the next condiment that you leave out for everyone to use. From eggs to desserts, you can add some for the most succulent flavor.

Austin Chile Crisp is even delicious adding it to a grilled cheese sandwich. It just gives your mouth a burst of flavor in every bite. Every bite you take is an extraordinary flavor bomb, and you just want more. It really does go with everything you eat. It's nice to have a condiment like Austin Chile Crisp that is not vinegar-based. This makes you love it even more.

Before our main dish, I incorporated some of the Austin Chile Crisp on top of some rice noodle rolls. This Chile Crisp is perfect as it has the most amazing Asian flavor profile, but yet would be great on an Italian pizza. That just goes to show you how versatile it is. Once you try Austin Chile Crisp, you will be its biggest fan, it's just incredible. The infused oil containing the crunchy flavorful bits of peppers, onions, and garlic are truly mouthwatering. And the aromatics aren't bad either. Austin Chile Crisp can be used as a replacement for hot sauce.

The main dish for tonight's dinner was Tahini noodles with bok choy and for added flavor, Austin Chile Crisp. Talk about a mouth-watering way to end the evening. The extra crunchy bits in the Austin Chile Crisp make it even more delicious. And the Austin Chile Crisp is so easy to use. After you open, you just need to stir and add to your favorite dish. The texture it brings and the heat are a culinary experience. You also get somewhat of a sweet tang. Every ingredient in the jar is in perfect balance, not one ingredient of its kind takes over.
