Favorite Quick Bite: Cheesy Garlic Bread Bites

Sometimes you just need a quick, satisfying snack to tide you over between meals or to serve as a fun appetizer for friends. These Cheesy Garlic Bread Bites are my absolute go-to! They're incredibly easy to make with just a few simple ingredients, bursting with garlicky, cheesy goodness, and always a crowd-pleaser. Plus, they're ready in minutes!

This recipe is perfect for those moments when hunger strikes and you need a flavorful pick-me-up.

Ingredients:

1 loaf (about 10-12 ounces) Italian bread or a small French baguette

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra garlicky flavor)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Bread: Slice the Italian bread or baguette into 1-inch thick slices.

Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and garlic powder (if using). Mix well until evenly combined.

Spread Garlic Butter: Spread the garlic butter generously on one side of each bread slice.

Add Cheese: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the garlic buttered side of each bread slice, followed by the shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake: Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown, and the bread is slightly toasted.

Garnish and Serve: If desired, sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the cheesy garlic bread bites. Serve immediately while they are warm and the cheese is gooey.

Tips for Perfect Cheesy Garlic Bread Bites:

Fresh Garlic is Key: While garlic powder adds a boost, fresh minced garlic provides the best flavor.

Adjust Cheese Amounts: Feel free to adjust the amount of Parmesan and mozzarella cheese to your preference. You can also experiment with other cheeses like provolone or a blend of Italian cheeses.

Don't Burn the Garlic: Ensure your oven temperature isn't too high, as the garlic butter can burn quickly. Keep an eye on them while they're baking.

Make Ahead (Partially): You can prepare the garlic butter spread ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator. Just bring it to room temperature before spreading on the bread.

Serving Suggestions: These cheesy garlic bread bites are perfect on their own as a snack or appetizer. They also pair well with soups, salads, or pasta dishes.
