Brad B Jammin Product Review

Getting ready to do some baking, since I got six bottles of jam from the company Brad B Jammin. Thanks to Brad for sending me six bottles of his homemade jam to taste and review.
This company started when Brad picked his concord grapes for the season and asked what he might do with the grapes. From that he and his wife, decided that jams would be what he wanted to do. The philosophy persisted, and Brad and Kristen enjoyed creating jams that were original.

So what I am making tonight are thumbprint cookies, and using each and every one of the flavors Brad BJammin sent over.

Six cookies got the TamarindInferno jam. Now this jam has the taste of tangy and tart, with a heat to it. The sweetness does take the edge off the heat some what. And made with the thumbprint cookies balances off very well. Brad use's ingredients for his jams, that makes them natural and healthy to.

Six cookies after the first batch got the plum inferno. This also is a hot jam, with the sweet, slightly sour, of the plums. The acid level was very low, and the overall taste was fantastic. Brad does use Jalapeno's with his jam, and it is not over shadowing the flavor of the fruit. He knows just the right equal parts for his ingredients, and it shows in the taste.

Next six cookies was topped with Brad B Jammin, Blue Raspberry jam. Now even though this is Blue Raspberry, the taste of the jam reminds me of blackberries, a little tart, and a robust color of purple. Again this was a great tasting jam, with a chunky texture from the fruit.

Cooling and ready to taste now is the thumbprint cookies with the jam, strawberry kiwi. This jam was a little thick texture wise. It was a wonderful combination of the two fruits. The taste was sweet with a slight tartness. You can see the seeds through out the jam, and I always love that. It lets you know how much fruit there really is. That’s my personal opinion.

Now,we are down to the last dozen. The next jam from Brad B Jammin is the Apricot. The jam had flavors that we're very well balanced. You totally get the taste of the apricots, and nothing else. No sugar, or lemon that usually goes into jam. There is a fullness to the body of the jam, nice, not to thin and not to heavy.

The last batch and I am done for the evening is the pear rum jam. This I did not use for the cookies. I used the crackers Brad B Jammin sent. They we're a wafer thin crisp rosemary cracker. The combo of the pear rum jam and the rosemary cracker was phenomenal.

Now these jams can be used in so many ways, as marinades, glazes, and in so many recipes.
