Pickled Pink Foods Review

I was very pleased today to receive two jars of perfectly pickled peaches, from the company "Pickled Pink Foods". The company is based in Norcross Ga. Pickled Pink Gourmet Items are distilled by hand, using the freshest and most creative ingredients. Their pickled cucumbers, jalapenos, and watermelon are as southern as they are so elegant and as sweet as they are sassy. If you're eating them with salads and sandwiches or using them in your favorite dishes, I guarantee that you'll be pickled pink as I looked forward to being.

 What's also great is, that Pickled Pink is pleased to help Hunter's Hotline, a non-profit group that offers classrooms with anonymous hotlines and increase neighborhood knowledge about problems impacting our communities. The hotline encourages students to report illegal or dangerous behavior, like violence, substance and alcohol misuse, or other issues that impact youth lives.

I was excited to try the peaches in a cobbler recipe, and that’s just what I did for tonight's dessert. Right through the jar you can see the juicy peaches, and the flecks of red peppers flakes.

Tasting them straight from the jar, you get a hint of cinnamon, and clove, then the heat of the red pepper flakes. But in combo it's nothing over bearing, a perfect balance of sweet n heat. The peaches are sliced, just perfect and almost in uniform. The bite of the peaches are still firm, you get a touch of the heat in each bite. A truly southern food feel.

The peaches worked perfectly in a my cobbler. I would use them for other recipes as well. Even in a bowl as a side dish for a Holiday meal, would be a great addition. The pickled pink peaches would also be great for a vegetarian eater, as a dessert.
