Vejje mixes A Cut Above Meat Review

For the first time I am going to try plant based meat. The company that sent over the products are, Vejje mixes, based out of Golden, Co. The company produces plant based meat mixes for vegetarians, and vegans, but also all food lovers.

The shelf life of their products is one year, and comes dehydrated, so you don't need to put the box in the fridge or the freezer. They are easy and fast to use after you rehydrate them, so I think they would make great portable meals, for those who travel, even camping off grid.

So to start for lunch I am going to use the box of Vejje mix A cut above meat "chicken". I will make a vegan chicken pizza for my girls and myself. The product is one hundred percent made from plants, and is a dry mix that makes approximately 2.5 pounds of meat after being rehydrated. So taking some gluten free pizza dough with the chicken as the topping, I made a plant based chicken pizza. The chicken based plant meat can be used to make any chicken dish that you would use other chicken in. Use it in salads, fajitas, pizzas, patties, so many recipes.

The other box mix from Vejje, is the meat free beef mix. One single box of this makes 3lbs of meat after you rehydrate it. So with this I made dinner, and made burger patties and fried them on the stove top. The burgers came out moist and delicious and you couldn't even tell they we're plant based. These are perfect for any one and for all types of recipes that you would beef in. Whether you are making, burgers, tacos, or even meat sauce, the meat will work. The Vejje box beef mix is made also of one hundred plant based, free just like the chicken mix, free of animal products. When you first rehydrate the plant base beef mix, it forms into crumbles, but shapes to any form you wish very fast. The plant base beef mix is tasty and very easy to assemble. This is also a great product for on the go travelers, or off grid campers. And with the amount it makes you can make it and save some for another night.

Both of these Vejje mix, plant based mixes are also great in the event of a emergency due to their shelf life.
