Dean's Sweets Review

Today I received some yummy sweets from the company call Dean's Sweets.

From their kitchen Dean and Kristen made home made truffles as a hobby, to a pluming business that the company is today. There is just so much to choose from, Dean's Sweets. You can even create your own confections, for your company. Even today Dean's truffles have remained the same, each being hand dipped and created as a art. There are never ending flavors, and new creations to look forward to, that are all beautifully hand crafted, and heavenly tasting.

Dean's Sweets, never use's any type of tree nut in their confections or other products, making them safe and yummy treats for those whom may have a nut allergy. The chocolate for Dean's Sweets is sourced from some of the finest imported chocolate there is. They don't use any preservatives or artificial flavors when making any of their Sweet treats. Most of the products are gluten free, and dairy free as well, and vegan. A great guilt free snack that everyone can enjoy. Dean's Sweets, only use the best ingredients there is, making their treats a art as well as a business.

The first Dean's Sweets I opened was the box of their top seller mix. A Best seller for Dean's Sweets, with combinations of dark and milk chocolate confections. In the box there is truffles, caramels, and butter creams. The box is also ready for gift giving, with a nice maroon bow wrapped around it already. I got to taste some great heavenly flavors in the box. One of Maine Sea Salt caramel. You enjoy the flavor of blends of sweet and salty. There is some in milk chocolate and dark chocolate as well. When you pick out the double dark, you get a nice sweet center, that has a hint of Mexican vanilla. Also in the box is raspberry, a nice sweet confection with milk chocolate, and a heavenly cream center. Another flavor in the box was espresso butter cream, if you love coffee, you will love the taste of this piece. It is a sweet cream confection that is topped with a espresso bean. If vanilla butter cream is your choice, you will be enjoying a Madagascar vanilla confection with sweet Maine butter, and sugar, with dark chocolate. Any one would enjoy getting this as a gift, or just treat your self.

Next up was Dean's Sweets, Maine sea salt caramel sauce, which I heated up for a few seconds and poured it over my pumpkin cheesecake as the topping. The rich color just complimented the pumpkin cheesecake, and made your mouth water. There is only five ingredients to this caramel sauce, which are, demerara sugar, house-made invert sugar syrup, organic heavy cream from local Misty Brook Farm, butter from Casco Bay Creamery in Scarborough, Maine. And then there is a nice touch of Maine sea salt. You get a nice smooth creamy caramel sauce that you can enjoy on many dish's, or even in a smoothie. This Dean's Maine Sea Salt Caramel Sauce, was a award winning product of the Good Food Awards 2020. The jar that the caramel sauce comes in can even go into the microwave.

Since I was baking, I decided to make some brownies using Dean's Sweets hot fudge sauce, not only in the brownies but as the topping. It made my brownies turn out looking exquisite, and mouth watering to say the least. The jar is filled with Maine made Dutch chocolate, and other fine ingredients. This hot fudge sauce is not like any other you will taste, it is in a category all its own. The fine ingredients are, unsweetened Dutch cocoa powder, demerara sugar, natural vanilla, organic heavy cream from local Misty Brook Farm, and butter from Casco Bay Creamery in Scarborough, Maine. The taste and the look is like a dark chocolate butter. You have to taste it to understand, how sophisticated this hot fudge sauce is. The jar is also microwaveable, making it easy to pour over a dish or dessert.

It was really fun cooking with these products, and tasting the chocolate confections well cooking.

You can also find
Dean's Sweets at some events, that are coming up.
