A spooky treat for the kids.
Things You'll Need
1 sheet pre-made crescent rolls or
crescent dough sheets
1/4 cup pizza sauce or marinara
1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
8-10 pepperoni slices
Egg wash (1 egg plus 2 tables
water, beaten)
2 black olive slices
Unwrap the dough, add it to the
baking sheet coated with parchment paper. Push all the lines in the dough
together along with your thumbs.
Apply the filling to the center
third of the dough, trying to avoid the outer edge of 1 inch at the ends.
Fold the ends covering the
filling.
Wrap the strips in between the
sides of the filling.
Base with the egg wash.
Apply the black olives at the top
to resemble the eyes.
Cook 20-25 minutes at 375 ° F or
until the dough becomes golden brown.
Cool and serve with your favorite marinara
sauce.
