Z's Hot Sauce Product Review

 

When it comes to adding flavor to your recipes, hot sauce can also do the trick. It gives you flavor and kick at the same time. And today that’s what I did, I used hot sauce to spice up dinner.

For the hot sauce, I used two products that was sent to me from Z's, located in Ogden, Utah.

Z's hot sauce not only looks great, but taste great as well. The hot sauce products from Z's is one hundred percent gourmet and handmade. And you taste that in the product itself. Made in small batches, to ensure freshness and quality, with the best ingredients there is. From the label on the bottles, to the hot sauce waiting for you inside, these products will make your mouth sing, in a good way!

 

So with that being said, let me tell you the recipes I came up with, to serve the family for dinner.

As the family waited for the main course, I made some New Orleans fire cracker shrimp for a appy. Using nothing for flavor but, you guessed it, Shield Maiden hot sauce from Z's. My family loves heat, and this hot sauce brought it to the palate. Its, a five time award winning hot sauce for Z's. There's nothing in the jar but pure all natural ingredients, and some peppers that you will not forget. It's a combo of sweet and heat. The sweet taste comes from Cox clover honey, and carrots. Then there's peppers for the heat, from Jalapenos, Chile de arbol, cayenne and habaneros for the last burn. You also get a kiss of tang from white vinegar. The burn that you get last, will linger, but will be remembered in a good palatable way! Now you can use it straight as a condiment, but also it adds a ton of flavor to recipes.

The main dish was some chicken breast, and for the flavoring I covered it in Z's spicy mustard hot sauce. I not only achieved great taste on the chicken, but created a beautiful yellow color from the spicy mustard hot sauce. This is also a award winning hot sauce from Z's. The ingredients have a threesome of high grade peppers, Fresno, Serrano and Habanero. And if your wondering if there's heat, oh yea there is! You then have a nice balance of garlic as well for a nice flavor, and a zesty tang from white vinegar. Then for a nice boldness, there is a smudge of turmeric, that brings a nice color to the spicy mustard hot sauce. Z's also added some Himalayan salt, as a seasoning. If you love spicy mustard, you will love this handmade product from Z's.

 

Both of these hot sauces are very versatile, as a condiment or as a recipe ingredient.

To end the evening, I made some bloody mary drinks. Using Z'S original spicy bloody mary mix. The drink was the perfect ending, to our spicy evening. Z's bloody mary mix is made with roasted peppers and roasted garlic. It was very refreshing, and had a nice mouth watering spicy kick. The bloody mary mix is also made with all natural ingredients. It also has a great thickness to it that makes the bloody mary drink even more special. Being thick, the ice does not melt as fast, leaving you to enjoy your drink until the last sip. There was no need for tomato juice, you make your drink straight from the bottle.
