Benito's Maple Syrup Product Review

 

From growing chile peppers to small batches of fresh veggies for hot sauce, Benito's has it going on. And today, with the three maple syrup products they sent me, I am going to share with you, the delicious dish's I created.

The company is located in Morrisville, VT, where they craft chile pepper infused Vermont maple syrups. There is a array of not only heat levels, but flavors. The ingredients are sourced from organic Vermont grown chiles and other veggies, and certified organic maple syrup.

Dinner is where I used the products, and first bottle opened was Benito's, habanero infused maple syrup, in my fajitas. I glazed not only the meat but the veggies as well. And can I tell you, a lip smacking meal was created. I used no other seasoning for flavor, all the taste came from Benito's, habanero infused maple syrup. This maple syrup from Benito's, was the 2012 winner for fiery food challenge in Irving TX. and the 2013 winner scovie award. The infused syrup is a rich dark maple syrup, with the same flavor profile. You get sweet and heat at the same time. It is a wonderful versatile infused maple syrup that would go great with many different types of food dish's. And the best part is, it's made with real pure Vermont maple syrup from Stony Hill Maple, Fletcher VT.

For a side dish, I made some roasted Brussels sprouts, and coated them with Benito's, chipotle bourbon maple syrup. The Chipotle bourbon infused maple syrup brought not only heat, but a nice boozy taste, in the best way. The maple syrup has a nice dark color, and is infused with organic chipotle peppers, and smoke dried jalapenos, then has the finish with real whiskey barrel. A very versatile product that you can use on from veggies to ice cream.

Dessert was a nice flan, and had a finish of, Benito's vanilla bean maple syrup. Talk about a finish, the flan was the best I made in a long time. It was lip smacking good. The Benito's vanilla bean infused maple syrup was a nice dark color, bursting with flavor of vanilla. You will love this in a traditional way, or a non traditional way. It's all up to you, to get creative.
