OVEN-BAKED PORK BELLY SLICES

 


Crispy, fatty, and bursting with flavor, these delectable strips are ideal as an appetizer or for breakfast in place of bacon.

 

INGREDIENTS

12 thick pork belly strips

1 teaspoon Diamond Crystal kosher salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

 

 

Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Using parchment paper, line a large, rimmed baking sheet.

Arrange the pork belly pieces in a single layer in the pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

 

 

 Roasting for 30 minutes on the first side and another 20-30 minutes on the second side, or until brown and crispy. Halfway through baking, empty the pan and save the released fat in a container if desired.
