Fun Kids recipe

 



 Getting kids to eat their vegetables can sometimes be a challenge. But with a little creativity and a lot of love, you can prepare vegetable dishes that are not only nutritious but also delicious and kid-friendly. Here are some recipes that are sure to make your little ones ask for seconds.

 

1. Veggie Pizza

Ingredients:

 

1 pizza dough

1 cup of pizza sauce

2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup of chopped bell peppers

1 cup of chopped broccoli

1/2 cup of sliced olives

Instructions:

 

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.

Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.

Sprinkle the cheese over the sauce.

Arrange the vegetables over the cheese.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

2. Rainbow Vegetable Skewers

Ingredients:

 

1 red bell pepper

1 orange bell pepper

1 yellow bell pepper

1 green bell pepper

1 purple onion

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Instructions:

 

Preheat your grill to medium heat.

Cut the vegetables into 1-inch pieces.

Thread the vegetables onto skewers, alternating colors.

Brush the vegetables with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Grill for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.

3. Veggie Fried Rice

Ingredients:

 

2 cups of cooked rice

1 cup of mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)

2 tablespoons of soy sauce

1 egg

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

Instructions:

 

Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.

Add the vegetables and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until they are tender.

Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and crack the egg into the other side. Scramble the egg and mix it with the vegetables.

Add the rice and soy sauce and stir everything together. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
