A fast and easy Southern Fudge Chew recipe
Preheat the oven at 350
degrees F.
Cook in a large saucepan,
stirring continuously with a wooden spoon:
1/4 cup of butter (salted is
perfect or unsalted with a touch of salt)
14 ounces of condensed milk
12 ounces of semi-sweet
chocolate chips
Remove from heat and stir:
1 tsp of pure vanilla extract
1 C of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of pecans, diced
Remove the teaspoons onto the ungreased baking
sheets. Press half of the pecan to the center of each cookie. Bake for about 7
minutes. (Do not overcook.) Remove cookies from wire racks to cool completely.
