Slow Cooker Salsa


What you need:

12 Roma tomatoes
1 white onion, chopped
4 whole cloves garlic
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and sliced
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Cilantro for garnishing

Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Place a tiny slice in each of the tomatoes and add 1 clove of garlic. Place the onions in a crock pot and put the tomatoes on top of the onions. Apply the jalapeno peppers to the bowl and season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for up to 3 hours. Place the tomatoes in a bowl to cool when finished. Gently pull the skins (discard the seeds) and put the remainder of the ingredients in the crock pot in the blender. Blend to the ideal consistency. Garnish with cilantro before eating.
