Double G Craft Jerky Product Review

If you love beef jerky, you are going to really enjoy the product I received today.

It comes from the company, Double G Craft Jerky, located in, Vero Beach, FL.

The driving force behind this delicious jerky is popular disc golfer, Garret "Double G" Gurthie, who's humble beginnings like the jerky started in Florida.

Garret grew up on beef jerky, a staple in his family home growing up. He became interested in the many flavors he created as a teen. And that is how Double G jerky came to life. Using the best quality meats, and the best seasonings, with nutrition, he created some of the best jerky out there.

Double Craft Jerky comes in many flavors, that are great to grab on the go as a healthy snack. Or even grab some in between meals. And the best part, Double G provides encouragement to other youths, that are interested in learning disc golf. Best yet, is with each sale, Double G Craft jerky supports the efforts of the Double G Children's Foundation!

Now comes the part where I tell you how these Double G Craft Jerky's taste like. But better yet, tell you about the two recipes I made with the jerky as a added ingredient!

The Double G flavor that I tried first was their, smashed crack pepper. The flavor is not only delectable, but its one hundred percent natural. It is the perfect size bag to grab on the go, or sit with and watch a great movie and share with family or friends. Every bite you take of this peppery jerky from, Double G, you taste the passion that went into crafting it. It is smooth and juicy, and not hard on the teeth at all. It is just a moist and delicious tasting jerky. Each bite gives off a little kick, and it's really a nice surprise on the palate. If you enjoy a kick in your snack, this jerky is the one for you.

Also with the smashed crack pepper beef jerky, I added some into some homemade cornbread, as a added ingredient. Replacing hot pepper flakes that I would have used, it was the perfect addition. Giving the cornbread a nice pepper flavor and a little crunch.

The next bag from, Double G, was their original beef jerky, which like all the others comes in a bag that is 2.5 ounce's. This is the flavor that started Double G Craft Jerky, the one packed with not only nutrients but protein. It's a great snack to turn to for everyone. It's all natural, and healthy for any diet type. The original has a little sweetness to it from brown sugar, with a little smoke flavor as well. A nice low calorie snack, to grab instead of salty ones.

Now if you enjoy a hot spicy snack to wake up your taste buds, Double G Craft Jerky has a flavor you will really enjoy. It is their Hot Boom Sauce, beef jerky. And right through the bag, your going to see the heat seeds! This flavor is even lower in calories than some of the other flavors. And it will wake your taste buds up with its fresh ingredients, like fresh jalapenos, and chili pepper extract and cayenne. You still get a tinge of sweet and smoke flavors as well. The name Double G gave this flavor jerky is perfect. It is lip smacking good with a boom on your palate. It's like the fourth of July in your mouth!

For a side dish, I added some of the Double G, boom jerky into some homemade baked beans. It held up nice and added some heat. It was delicious even cooked into a dish.

Boom Baked Beans

Ingredients

8 broken up Double G Craft Boom Sauce Jerky

1/2 Cup Onion, Diced

2 (11oz) Cans of Pork and Beans

1 (16oz) Red Kidney Beans, Rinsed & Drained

1/2 Cup Ketchup

2 Tbsp Yellow Mustard

1 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 Cup Honey

Salt and Pepper to Taste (Dash)

4 Hot Dogs, Sliced

Cook the jerky and onion until a little crispy in the pot of the instant pot or skillet. Jerky should be drained and crumbled.

If needed, rinse the pot and return it to the instant pot/skillet.

Reintroduce the jerky and onion. Combine the meat and beans in a mixing bowl.

Combine kidney beans, ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and honey in a mixing bowl.

Add the hot dogs at this stage. Combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. If using the slow cooker feature, place the glass lid or pressure cooker lid with the nozzle set to'vent' and set the timer for 8 hours on low. When finished, stir and serve.

The last bag of jerky from, Double G, was their Teriyaki flavor. A wonderful Teriyaki flavor to a nice smooth biting jerky is the best. You will just fall in love with this flavor. It has a nice tropical flavor in every bite you take, and it comes from the pineapple juice that’s just one of the ingredients. There is nothing over powering about the flavor, its very mouth watering in each bite you take. And as low in calories as it is, anyone can enjoy it. Not only are these jerky products great as a snack, from Double G. They would make a awesome gift.

If you want to try some, Double G Craft Jerky for your self, you can find them online or on Amazon.

Maritime Madness pepper sauces review

The review I am did today, was with some awesome hot sauce's from the company, Maritime Madness.

The company came to be from food lovers, that wanted the perfect addition to their foods. The company continues to grow each day, and now offers up to thirty five sauce's, with more to come.

Each sauce is very versatile, and pairs fantastic with what ever type of food you may be eating. The heat level is from mild to sourcing, all depends on what you love. What ever sauce you choose, it not only gives you the heat your looking for, but some additional mouthwatering flavor. And you can get boxed sauce's that are ready for gift giving.

Ready to hear about my day, with Maritime Madness hot sauce. Let's go!

First up to go with breakfast eggs, I made some lip smacking candy bacon using, Maritime Madness Candy hot sauce. The Maritime Madness hot sauce is Candy fire, sweet + Hot piquante, candied habanero. It was the perfect choice for candied bacon, giving it not only fire but sweetness in every bite. The habanero heat is not for the faint of heart. However the sweet fruity flavor does help with the habanero pepper heat. It is a very versatile hot sauce that you can use for pasta dish's to fish dish's. Definitely deserves to be on your table as a condiment. The ingredients in this hot sauce like all, Maritime Madness sauce's are real and natural. The ingredients for Candy include,  sugar, habaneros, apple cider vinegar, spices, salt, xanthan gum. A perfect blend of heat and spices, that is a party on your palate.

Habanero Candied Bacon

Ingredients:

 1/3 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon freshly grated orange peel

1/3 cup Maritime Madness Candy habanero hot Sauce

12 slices thick-cut bacon

Heat the oven to 325°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Cooking spray a cooling rack and set it on a sheet pan.

In a small dish, combine the brown sugar and orange peel. Brush the Maritime Madness Candy sauce on both sides of each piece of bacon. Toss the bacon in the basin with the brown sugar to coat. Ensure that the bacon is uniformly covered. On top of the rack, arrange the bacon in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon has darkened somewhat. After 20 minutes, keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't scorch. Carefully remove the bacon from the rack and place it on a piece of parchment paper to cool. As it cools, the bacon will crisp up.

Keeping it simple today with meals, but packed with flavor, lunch was next using, Maritime Madness red clay hot sauce on some chicken cheese steaks. Maritime Madness, red clay medium red pepper sauce, is not only bright, but packed with a ton of flavor. The ingredients are, Hot Peppers, vinegar, water, tomatoes, apples, maple syrup, salt, xanthan gum, vitamin C. And when you bite into your food, it is a explosion of flavor on your palate. This hot sauce like the others from Maritime Madness are dairy free, gluten free, low in sodium, and vegan friendly. This is a wonderful hot sauce to add to your condiment list with no disappointments. It is succulent no matter what you drizzle it on.

Dinner was some wings and pizza and a movie. The wings I totally covered in, Maritime Madness simple hot sauce. This simple classic habanero hot sauce is banging, in heat and flavor. With ingredients of, vinegar, habaneros, water, lime juice, onions, carrots, fresh garlic, spices, xanthan gum. After you taste it you will also make it your go to hot sauce for every dish. It is loaded with such fresh ingredients, that you taste in every bite of food you use it on. And for chicken wings it is the perfect choice. However you won't be disappointed with any recipe you use it with. Made the same way, vegan friendly, dairy free, gluten free, and no sugar, it is the perfect hot sauce for all.

The flavor from Maritime Madness hot sauce's just kept going. And for the main dish was some homemade pizza's with a unique flavor from, Maritime Madness mustard pickle hot sauce. You heard right mustard pickle hot sauce. This was a first for my family and I, and it was amazing. It goes wonderful on food giving you that mustard pickle flavor for a added surprise. It is made with, Hot peppers, vinegar, mustard, cucumbers, sugar, salt, xanthan gum. You not only get the flavors of mustard and pickle but great heat from habanero at the end. Any place you would use mustard and add pickles, this hot sauce from, Maritime Madness is the perfect replacement. From sausage sandwich's to fish, it would be a pleasant addition.

If you want to become a family member to, Maritime Madness hot sauce's, visit them online. Your palate will thank you after.

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground sirloin, panko bread crumbs, egg, milk, and 1/2 package onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper; form into 5 patties.

Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Cook patties in a heated skillet for 3 to 5 minutes per side, or until browned.

In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. 5 to 7 minutes, sauté mushrooms and onion in heated butter until soft. Cook and whisk the flour and leftover dry onion soup mix into the mushroom mix until the flour is well incorporated, about 1 minute. Stream in the beef stock and water while constantly stirring over the mushroom mixture; bring to a boil, lower heat to medium, and cook, stirring regularly, until the liquid thickens, approximately 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place the browned steaks in the gravy and cook for 30 minutes, or until the steaks are firm and gray in the middle.
