Nuts on the Run Product Review

From, the company, Nuts on the Run, I got a assortment of their yummy products. Adam and Lydia Myhoob are the driving force behind this family owned business, located in, Oregon.

Their goal is to make tasty, quality nut products, with delicious flavors, to satisfy everyone's palate. They are all natural nut products, that never contain artificial ingredients what so ever, and are GMO free. Just great snacks for the young an old to enjoy, any time of the day. Made in small batch's, Nuts on the Run, provides freshness and quality.

Not only are, Nuts on theRun, tasty right from the bag, but you can also use them in your everyday cooking. Like I did!

Lets get started!

The first bag, from, Nuts on the Run, was their roasted almonds covered in a classic, German combo of cinnamon, pure vanilla extract and organic cane sugar. The nuts tasted so amazing, so fresh and natural tasting in every bite. Made in small batches, ensures you the nuts are fresh. They are not greasy at all, and are made with no butter or oil, during the roasting process. This allows for the natural taste of the nuts to shine. Great for a on the go snack, a hold over between meals, and great for any diet out there.

The second bag from, Nuts on the Run, is their sea salt caramel pecans, not only in a bag, but a cute cone shape that would be great for a gift. Using the sea salt caramel pecans, I made a nice healthy breakfast of a baked acorn squash, then filled it with yogurt and topped the yogurt with the sea salt caramel pecans. A nice crunch to the breakfast combo, and a healthy added ingredient that added even more flavor. The pecans, that make up this product from, Nuts on the Run, are made with opulent blends of organic caramel and pecans, giving you a guilt free snack, or added ingredient to a recipe. Again not roasted with butter or oil, which gives you the taste of the natural pecans.

Then for lunch, I made a nice strawberry salad and topped it with, rosemary almonds from, Nuts on the Run. It gave the salad a nice crunch, and added flavor. The rosemary almonds are a nice sweet and savory taste, that is also very versatile as all the nut products are. There is a hint of salt, a wonderful aroma, and a fantastic crunch. You will just fall in love with these nuts.

For dinner, I crushed some of the Italian herb nuts from, Nuts on the Run, and coated the top of some cod fillets then air fried them. The nuts held up perfectly, and added a nice crunchy texture to the fish dinner. Also the nuts gave the fish some added flavor, from all the Italian herbs already mixed in with the nuts. The nut mixture is a nice combo of Italian her cashews, almonds and shelled pistachios, that meld so perfectly together. The nuts are such a premium product, and in every bite you can taste the love and care that went into their production.

For a snack after dinner, the family and I got to share the bag of honey glazed nuts, from Nuts on the run. It was a perfect snack, and would go great with a nice cold beer, sitting on the porch. These honey glazed nuts are coated with organic toasted sesame seeds for some extra flavor. There is a combo of nuts in the bag of almonds, cashews and pecans. The nuts have a wonderful crunch and flavor profile. They make a wonderful garnish for your recipes, such as a salad or on top of some yogurt. The ideas are endless and very versatile.

If you love some spice in your food, the next bag from, Nuts on the run will really satisfy your palate. It is their chili lime saffron pistachios. They come in the cutest cone bag, ready for gift giving. They have a nice tang, with a slight kick afterwards. Then you have the accent of saffron on these tiny treasures, that not only adds color, but a nice Spanish flavor. Just a great tasting snack, that can be enjoyed or used as a added ingredient to your recipes as well. The pistachios are just a nice size to, not to small and not to big. And they do have the shells on them, but are very easy to open. When you open the bag, you get a nice citrus aroma flowing out, that is very appealing.

Nuts on the Run, are great healthy snacks, make wonderful gifts, and can even be used for your next fundraiser.

If these products appeal to you, head over to their online store, Amazon, or Faire.

Pine Barrens Native Fruits Product Review

If you did not know, cranberries and blueberries are a force of healthy goodness. They are not only good to taste, but will help you take care of your body.

Today's products came from, Pine Barrens Native Fruits, that harvest both these berries. Located in Browns Mills NJ, not farm from my own home town. When you purchase products from, Pine Barrens Native Fruits, you are supporting sustainable, native agriculture and helping to preserve, South Jersey Pine Barrens. This is where cranberry farming has been happening for over 150 years!

Pine Barrens Native Fruits, is a 5th generation farmer business, now run by Brenda Conner and Joe Darlington. With love and care not only for the land but for the quality of the cranberries, and blueberries, you can enjoy their products year round.

When you visit, Pine Barrens Native Fruits, you will also learn about Elizabeth C. White, and how she herself cultivated the first blueberry. Also take a tour of the historic, Whitesbog Farm Village, and taste some of their yummy products.

With the products I received today, I got to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with a tasty appetizer.

First up, I made some stuffed French toast, and for the filling used, Pine Barrens Native Fruits, Tru Blu Berry Jam, and cream cheese. It was amazing to taste. The jam is smooth and silky and spreads so easy. All the ingredients are all natural, and what you taste is one hundred percent blueberries. The jam is a wonderful dark blue color and has the most delicious flavor to it. A very versatile jam, that you can use not only for a filling, but as a glaze on some ribs, a spreading on a nice toasted bagel, and so much more. This jam is sure to please everyone, any time of the day!

Lunch was just as yummy, with turkey panini's, and a dollop of, Pine Barrens Native Fruits, mild cranberry salsa. Right through the jar you see all the semi chunky ingredients of, diced tomatoes, cranberries, green bell pepper, and jalapeno pepper that gives the salsa a nice kick. There is also a little recipe on the side of the jar, if you wish to try it. The cranberry salsa is fresh, and wakes your taste buds up, with its burst of flavor. It is another versatile product, great as a condiment, for dipping chips, or top your favorite sandwich with it. However you decide to use it, you will have a very fruit mouth watering dish.

For dinner I created two different appetizers, the first being a cream cheese dip using again some of the mild cranberry salsa. Pairing the two together was a perfect meld. On the side of the dip, I served a assortment of crackers, and also topped the dip, with fresh cranberries and a slice of jalapeno pepper. It was a hit, and everyone enjoyed it. The dip is creamy and spicy and sweet at the same time. Great to serve to guests, or family anytime of the year.

For the medium cranberry salsa, from Pine Barren Native Fruits, I piped some hummus on crackers and topped the hummus with the medium salsa. Not only did it look appealing, the taste was exquisite. Another tomato based salsa, with medium bits and pieces of all natural ingredients, that you can see right through the jar. Again you have some jalapeno pepper, but cayenne pepper as well. It has a nice heat to it, that is not overpowering. Then you get a nice tart taste from the fresh cranberries. In all the flavors of perfectly balanced. Another versatile product, to add as a ingredient to your recipes, or serve as a dip, or try over a meat, fish, or chicken dish. If you like a little spice, this Pine Barrens Native Fruit, cranberry salsa medium is for you.

The main dish of the evening was a nice pork tenderloin, that was stuffed with, Pine Barrens Native Fruits, cranberry walnut jam. Another exquisite pairing of ingredients. The jam is made with all natural ingredients, and has bits of walnuts through out. In each bite of pork, you got a nice crunchy tart taste, that was delicious. There is so much you can do with these products. Just thinking out the box, for some mouth watering recipes.

If you would like more information, head over to the, Pine Barrens Native Fruit website, and grab some jam or salsa for your dish's.

Papa Rico's Classic Pasta Sauce Product Review

When you get a array of, Italian products, what do you do with them? You have a Italian feast! And that's what happen today.

With a box load of pasta sauce, salad dressing, seasoning, bbq sauce, and parm cheese, you have all you need to make some delicious Italian dish's. And when the products come from Papa Rico's, it's double the party. One on the table the other on your palate. Papa Rico's is located in LaVista, NE.

From Papa Rico, tweeting his wife, Donna's pasta sauce recipe to our tables today, Papa Rico offers some classic's. Starting out at a farmers market, to the beyond, these products are booming, and becoming very popular. After you use them and taste them, it's not hard to understand why. Papa Rico's, products puts the "mangiare" in everything he makes.

With the products laid out on the counter, it was time to come up with a plan, to make a Italian feast for my family.

The first to come into a bowl, was a nice Italian salad with the fixings, and topped with, Papa Rico's Zesty Italian dressing. You can see right through the bottle, that everything your salad needs for flavor is right in the bottle. Tossing the salad with it, and tasting it, was so mouth watering. It has a nice zest to it that is fresh and clean. Not only does, Papa Rico's Zesty Italian Dressing, go well with a salad, but it is versatile enough to use as a marinade, for a nice coleslaw, or even on other pasta dish's. It has a nice little zest taste from the red pepper, and you already have ingredients of garlic and oregano in the bottle, to add all the taste you need.

The next dish on my table was some nice, roasted artichokes with, Papa Rico's, mild Italian spices not only on the artichokes but in my dipping sauce for them. The ingredients, are all natural, and include everything you need to add the perfect flavor to your dish. With basil, oregano, sugar, red pepper, black pepper and garlic salt, there is nothing more to add. On all the jars there is even a suggestion on how to add the seasoning to the, Papa Rico's pasta sauce.

For a veggie dish, which is very traditional for a good Italian dinner, I made some sautéed green beans, and topped them with, Papa Rico's pasta sauce, extra hot flavor. It really woke the green beans up, for sure. Right on the jar, Papa Rico's, extra hot warns not to feat the reaper. This reaper red sauce, is extra hot, but at the same time, busting with a ton of flavor. A nice sweet heat, that makes a party in your mouth. And the heat, oh yea, Carolina Reaper Peppers. From pasta to chicken, this sauce brings not only the heat, but the kick your looking for. Made with natural real ingredients, again all the flavor and seasoning you need is in the pasta sauce. If you like it hot, this Papa Rico's reaper red sauce will do the trick.

For a side, I divided my meatballs into two batch's. The first batch, I used the, Baileyz BBQ sauce original to pour over the meatballs, and to flavor them I used the Papa Rico's, hot Italian spices. Baileyz BBQ sauce is new to, Papa Rico's and comes from Laurel, NE. The original is made with real all natural ingredients and is a ketchup base. It was the perfect BBQ sauce to coat my meatballs with and with the added Papa Rico's hot Italian spice mix, they were extra special. They had a nice spice taste from the BBQ sauce, and heat from Papa Rico's Italian spices. Giving me all the flavor profiles I needed for my meatball side dish. Baileyz BBQ sauce, is very versatile and can be used for a dip, a coating on meat or chicken, even as a yummy condiment. The BBQ sauce gives you a nice sweet taste on your palate, and is spot on to add flavor, even use it as a substitute for ketchup. Baileyz BBQ Sauce is produced by, Scott & Christy Taylor, who have also come a long way with their products.

The second batch of meatballs, were made with Papa Rico's medium Italian spices, and topped with Papa Rico's medium classic red sauce, then topped with, Papa Rico's Rockin Parm. Three flavors going on, to make scrumptious meatballs. The meat balls, were flavored only with Papa Rico's medium Italian spices, nothing else was needed for the taste. Everything you would normally add, was already in the shaker container. The red pepper in the ingredient list, gives the Italian spices the perfect mild kick. Then topping it off you get the flavors from, Papa Rico's classic red sauce, medium, which again is made with all natural ingredients. When you taste it you instantly get transformed to Sicily, where great meals are created, only this time the meal is in your kitchen. The Papa Rico's classic red sauce, is very versatile, use it for meatballs as I did, but also for pasta, chicken, even on a good pizza recipe. It has a nice balance of ingredients that includes brown sugar, for some sweetness, and some red pepper, enough for a medium heat level. The sauce needs nothing added to it, Papa Rico's did all the work for you. You have your spices, onion, and seasoning right in the jar. Topping the meatballs off, was Papa Rico's Rockin Parmesan cheese. A nice seven ounce container of pure cheesy delight. It will truly rock your taste buds for sure. It has the most extraordinary flavor, and is very versatile. Great to top pasta, salads, veggies and more. Made with all natural ingredients, it will rock your dish's and bring them to new heights. The red pepper in the parmesan, brings a nice heat to it. A first for me having this type of parmesan cheese. And it won't be the last!

One of the main dish's for the night was some homemade eggplant parm, made with Papa Rico's hot classic red sauce. Now it says hot, but it was still kid friendly. This sauce is where you get a nice balance of sweet and spice. Again as all the products from Papa Rico's, the hot classic red sauce is very versatile. You can make some great baked eggs with it, some baked fish, even use it for dipping bread. But for my eggplant parm dish, it was the perfect finish to the dish. All the ingredients in the jar, is what you yourself would put into a pot of homemade pasta sauce. And for the kick of heat, well again it comes from red pepper. Your family is going to thick you cooked all day with these products, but Papa Rico's did it all!

For my pasta dish, I did some corkscrews, and for the sauce, Papa Rico's, mild classic red. The sauce was mild in heat, but bursting in flavor. Made like all the rest with real natural ingredients. This sauce from Papa Rico's is as versatile as all the rest of his products. Pizza would be great with the mild classic sauce, as well as some for dipping bread sticks in. I then topped it with Papa Rico's, parmesan Romano cheese. In the shaker container is finely grated parmesan and Romano cheese's. Both combined bring so much flavor. The Papa Rico's Parmesan Romano cheese is great to top pasta with but also add a shake or two into some fine olive oil dipping sauce for added flavor.

The last product, is
Baileyz BBQ sauce spicy honey, in which I used the whole far to coat some hot Italian sausage bites. Amazing, as all the products from Papa Rico's. The sauce is sweet and spicy in perfect balance. The spice comes from the ingredients of hot pepper sauce and red pepper. And the sweet ingredients balance it all out. Baileyz's spicy honey BBQ sauce is a tomato base sauce, that is versatile as well. Use it for a glaze, a dipping sauce, or as a condiment. The idea's are endless.
