Tree Juice Maple Syrup Review

Today from breakfast till dessert, I got to create some delicious meals with some homemade syrups I received from the Catskills Mountains in, New York.

The company is called, Tree Juice, and their syrups are made by the Fairbairn family. The family has been in business, since 1930, on their one hundred acre farm. All toll there is 7500 maple tress that are tapped every year. Made in a traditional wood fired evaporator, making their sweet maple syrup. It was 2012, that, Jake, Ryan, Greg and Rae resurrected the family's sugar shack, and now their sweet success is available for our tables.

Not only do they make traditional maple syrup, they make infused maple syrups. All the infused syrups start with their home made pure one hundred percent maple syrup. You can get many amazing flavors of the infused syrups, and seasonal varieties as well.

Maple syrup is not just for breakfast, you can use it in a variety of dish's, which I have. But also use maple syrup to replace other sweeteners.

Let me tell you about these amazing products, and what I made with them.

First it was breakfast time, and I couldn't wait to taste these little gems that came in two ounce bottles. The bottles might be small, but the flavors were huge. The first syrup from, Tree Juice was their Maple. It is some really sweet syrup that is heavenly on the palate. For Tree Juice, maple syrup I made some homemade breakfast sausage and covered it in the maple syrup. It was sweet and heavenly in each bite you took. The maple syrup is a nice thickness, not to runny and not to thick. You can taste the love and care that was put into making this delectable syrup. There is nothing better then a homemade pure maple syrup, and Tree Juice, knows their stuff. On the palate the Tree Juice pure maple syrup taste so natural, its has a nice hint of smokiness, its buttery, and has a slight caramel flavor. No question about it, after you taste it, it will satisfy your taste buds.

Also for breakfast I made some pancake muffins with, Tree Juice, vanilla infused maple syrup poured all over the tops. This is a infused maple syrup with, Madagascar vanilla bean pods, added to the, Tree Juice, maple syrup. It infuses for a month, to give a nice smooth vanilla flavor, you will really enjoy. You can also use this flavor in some drinks as well. When you taste it, you can taste the high quality that this syrup is. There is even a vanilla bean inside the bottle. It is just the perfect tasting syrup, with a truly handcrafted vanilla taste. The flavor is so fresh and natural, and the syrup is nice and creamy, with a dreamy vanilla taste. Use it in your baking dish's, for some added luscious flavor. Top your breakfast dish's, but also don't leave out topping some ice cream, or yogurt.

I had a blast cooking with these tiny treasures, and lunch was up next. To start with, I made some lemonade and to sweeten the drink, I used Tree Juice zesty lemon maple syrup. Tree Juice really went all out with this flavor syrup. It has zest from organic lemons, and was cooked into the pure maple syrup. So adding it to lemonade, jumped the level of great taste ten fold. It is a very versatile maple syrup that would be great for glazes on fish or chicken, in hot tea when you have a cold, or as a addition to a salad dressing. The ideas are endless.

For lunch I baked some salmon and made a wonderful glaze with, Tree Juice, bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. This aged syrup draws the bourbon flavor from the oak cask walls. When its time to use, you have a wonderful rich maple syrup with a hint of Smokey oak, bourbon and caramel. Delicious over my fish. It had a wonderful spice flavor to it, that you can come up with thousands of use's for.

As a side dish for my fish lunch, I roasted some Brussels in, Tree Juice rye whisky barrel aged maple syrup. The flavor of the syrup is in a league all its own, Fully and locally sourced oak rye whiskey barrels were used to make this infusion. What you are left with is a maple syrup to die for.

To start our dinner off, I made a nice refreshing drink. A ice tea made with fresh blueberries, and Tree Juice blueberry maple syrup. It was so refreshing and natural tasting. And all the sweetness came from the blueberry syrup. As with all the maple syrup from, Tree Juice, the flavor is over the top. This blueberry syrup as they all are, are very versatile. From a French toast breakfast, to a refreshing dessert, you will be satisfied with the flavor. It is very naturally sweet and succulent. Imagine a infused maple syrup with wild blueberries added to it, giving you a exquisite taste. This is not your store brand syrup that's for sure.

For the main course, I grilled some ribs, and made a glaze with mustard and Tree Juice, chocolate maple syrup. Mouth watering down to the bone! This syrup is made with only two ingredients, and its hard to believe it is. One hundred percent Tree Juice maple syrup and raw cacao powder. As far as my glaze for the ribs, it was divine. Rich and perfect! The taste profile is perfect, and very versatile. I see adding it into some hot coco in the winter, or drizzled over a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

For a side dish to balance out the chocolate glazed ribs, I made a nice fruit salad, and for a special addition to the dressing, added Tree Juice candy cane maple syrup. Tree Juice took their maple syrup and added some organic grown peppermint leaves from their farm, for the infusion. You get a nice refreshing syrup, with a little zing from the mint. Every bite you take with this syrup on it, is so heavenly. I see some Christmas cookies with the candy cane syrup as a added ingredient. It's so refreshing on the palate!

To end the evening, I roasted some fresh peach's and drizzled them with not only cinnamon and whip cream, but some of Tree Juice cinnamon syrup. Heaven on a plate! This cinnamon syrup has two ingredients of pure Tree Juice maple syrup and a infusion of organic cinnamon sticks. It is a well balance of sweetness and spice. Great for Holiday cooking for sure. And the smell is just as amazing as the taste.

If your looking for some pure maple syrup that is hand crafted, then head over to, Tree Juice Maple Syrup, or Faire, Amazon also, and grab some today. You will truly be one hundred percent satisfied.

Chilau Food Product Review

Many years ago I lived in Florida, but never heard much about Tampa. That is not until today.

I received several bottles of, Chilau seafood sauce, and had no idea the history behind it. It is from the Tampa Bay district, in a area where, Cuban, Italian and Spanish and African American immigrants arrived, in the cigar capital of the world in the 1920's.

From the waters, blue crabs were very plentiful, and other seafood as well. This is where a little known dish came to be, called Cangrejo Enchilado, which in English is crab stew. Over time the dish got shortened to, Crab Chilau.

This so happens to be the products I got today, four bottles of seafood sauce, from the Tampa tradition, called Chilau.

Chilau foods founder is, Michael Anderson, and you can read all about his journey and his families journey, to the wonderful products he produces today. From Sunday dinners to our tables today, these seafood sauces are a great addition to your kitchen staples. You can also learn about the history of Tampa Bay, and the rich culture of the many foods found there. On Chilau foods, website, you will learn all about the history of Chilau, from the start of its creation. It's a deep, rich history rooted in Tampa Bay, Florida!

With that being said, and now warm weather upon us, my house today was all about some great seafood dish's. And the star ingredient was the Chilau Food, seafood sauces.

First up for dinner was a gumbo, and it included, chicken, shrimp, and some spicy sausage. And added into the broth a half of the bottle of, Chilau Foods. gumbo seafood sauce. Chilau 11th Avenue Gumbo as it says, was the base for my seafood gumbo. And it was all the flavor I needed to add. It gave my gumbo a nice fresh taste, and a true Southern flavor. The bottle contains a wonderful mixture of herbs and spices, that are in a tomato base sauce. All the flavor profile you need for your dish is in the jar, and includes, Water, Tomato Paste, Spices, Sea Salt, Granulated Onion, Granulated Garlic, Cayenne Chile Powder, De Arbol Chile Powder, Lemon Juice (lemon juice from concentrate, lemon oil), Turbinado Sugar, Distilled Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Natural Flavors(custom blend of spice extract), Sassafras Leaves. Chilau Foods, gumbo seafood sauce is all natural and gluten free. You get that Gulf coast flavor in every bit of you take of the gumbo. With a nice kick from cayenne, that is in perfect meld with all the other ingredients. As all the products are, the 11th Avenue Gumbo seafood sauce is very versatile. Use it for your soups, stews, marinades, even as a meat topping.

It was a blast cooking and eating, and the next dish was no exception. I made a nice pasta dish with linguine and shrimp, and some of Chilau seafood sauce, Florida citrus. It was the perfect sauce for my pasta dish. It's nice to have a product that has all the flavor enhancers you will need for your recipe. The ingredients that gave my pasta and shrimp dish such flavor, included, Water, Tomato Paste, Orange Juice Concentrate, Spices, Sea Salt, Granulated Onion, Granulated Garlic, Cayenne Chile Powder, De Arbol Chile Powder, Lemon Juice (lemon juice from concentrate, lemon oil), Turbinado Sugar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Natural Flavor (custom blend of spice extract). Not only do you get a luscious flavor, but a little kick from the cayenne, and a stunning color as well. You truly get the essence of coastal Florida taste with this citrus seafood sauce. You can use it for many recipes, especially those with a Caribbean flair. And if you want, add some for in a night cap of a bloody Mary, for a nice unique flavored drink. It's just has the most amazing flavor.

You can't have a seafood feast, and not include a crab boil. And for the flavor enhancer, I used, Chilau Foods original seafood sauce. It has a perfect blend of spices and herbs that consist of, Water, Tomato Paste, Spices, Sea Salt, Granulated Onion, Granulated Garlic, Cayenne Chile Powder, De Arbol Chile Powder, Lemon Juice (lemon juice from concentrate, lemon oil), Turbinado Sugar, Distilled Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Natural Flavor (custom blend of spice extract). It is the perfect base for many types of recipes, like soups, toppings, chowders, and even a good dip. The flavor profile is intense, sweet, tangy, and has a nice kick.

The last dish for the evening, was a nice big dish of lobster mac and cheese, made with, Chilau foods, boil bomb. And the taste was the bomb as well. Grandma Sandino's Product Review

I get to make some delicious dish's this evening, with products sent over from, Grandma Sandino's. A company that has been making delicious sauce for thirty plus years. And tonight I get to try their dry mix's and rubs to make dinner.

Grandma Sandino's is a woman owned company, that makes these hand made gourmet products, in small batch's right here in the U.S. All the products are being made in small batch's to ensure quality and freshness. Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, you can taste the love that went into the all they produce.

For lunch I made some meatball parms and used, Grandma's rub for the flavor. The ingredients in the pouch was all I need for taste. Ingredients such as, Granulated Garlic, granulated onion, a unique blend of Italian herbs and spices. All your Italian flavors come ready to use, you need add nothing else. This rub is great for chicken, burgers, even stuffing. The meatballs tasted like they were made in a five star Italian restaurant. You will never believe how versatile all these products are.

Dinner started tonight with a nice olive oil dip, and for flavor I used, Grandma Sandino's Herbal dip and spread. Everything you need for a tasty dip or spread, comes right from the bag. No other flavorings are needed. Grandma Sandino's herbal dip and spread, is all natural, as all the products are. Also they have no preservatives, are gluten free, dairy free, and sodium free. As a side dish, I made some divine garlic bread with unique ingredients. Grandma Sandino's garlic butter mix for bread or sauté's was the star ingredient, but also on top was some corn, broccoli and cheese. All topping some Texas toast bread. It was a great side dish, with a ton of flavor, from the ingredients of, Granulated Garlic, granulated onion, a unique blend of Italian herbs and spices.
