Jessica's Natural Foods Granola Product Review

For dessert tonight, I used two products "Granola". The Granola was sent over by, Jessica's Natural Foods, located in Birmingham, MI.

Jessica started the business, from a passion she had herself, for natural foods. Being a baker herself, it was easy to come up with recipes in different combinations. From starting small, to growing large, Jessica's Natural Foods, Granola is in 35 states, since 2009. The granola is made with free oats, and in a gluten free facility. The products are have no trans fat, no cholesterol, are non gmo, and as I said always made with certified gluten free oats. Every batch is handmade, and done so with love and quality. You will not find anything artificial in Jessica's Natural Foods. All ingredients are organic, and pure.

So let me tell you about the yummy desserts, I created with, Jessica's Natural Foods Granola.

The first dessert went into the oven, and it was baked apples with cranberries, then topped with Jessica's Natural Foods, vanilla maple granola. To taste the granola as a topping was nectar to your lips. It gave the soft baked apple just the perfect crunch. The ingredients for the vanilla maple granola are simple and include:  Certified gluten-free rolled oats, organic honey, brown sugar, expeller pressed sunflower oil, ground flax seed, coconut, water, maple syrup, pure vanilla extract, sea salt, cinnamon, tocopherols natural vitamin E. Contains: COCONUT. Now you can eat the granola right from the bag, just like cereal, but you can also bake with it, or add it as a ingredient to other recipes. This vanilla maple granola is baked using honey, real maple syrup, and pure vanilla extract. You won't feel guilty eating it at all.

Next dessert went into the freezer, after being rolled in chocolate, then rolled in Jessica's Natural Foods, Chocolate Chip Granola. Again the ingredients for the granola is real and pure, and include: Certified gluten-free rolled oats, semi-sweet chocolate chips (sugar, unsweetened chocolate, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, vanilla extract), organic honey, brown sugar, expeller pressed sunflower oil, ground flax seed, water, coconut, maple syrup, pure vanilla extract, sea salt, cinnamon, tocopherols natural vitamin E. Contains: COCONUT AND SOY. Granola is a great way to start or day, or replace a snack with. The chocolate chips used in Jessica's Natural Foods, granola are of premium quality. You will never know you are eating a gluten free product, the taste is amazing. My frozen bananas came out so tasty, in every bite you got a taste of the chocolate chip granola, and a nice crunch. The Jessica's Natural Foods, chocolate chip granola is a great replacement when craving something sweet.

What you will also love, is the many ways Jessica's Natural Foods, give back!

Today's package came just in time for the cold weather. From ApoEna Chocolates, located in Portlaoise, Ireland.

This will be the first time I have ever reviewed a product from Ireland. And for it to be chocolate has me very excited.

ApoEna Chocolates, is a family owned business, that two sister run. They have a large range of chocolate products that are made. This small business started out small in local places, such as farmers markets, but is now available to the world via their online success. Their chocolates are not only colorful, but are a vision to your eye, before your palate.

And with it being cold out tonight from Artic air, the chocolate bombs and stirrers could not have come at a better time. So tonight, after dinner, we all gathered our cups, and the ingredients and the chocolates from ApoEna Chocolates.

First up was the ApoEnachocolate bombs with mini marshmallows. The chocolate is rich and delicious, and they are so easy to make. Just place the chocolate bomb in your warm milk and watch it slowly melt into delicious mouth watering hot chocolate. The end result is a hot chocolate that is smooth as velvet. The flavor is spot on, and rich. It just melts in your mouth as you sip it.

Also sent over from ApoEna chocolates was chocolate stirrers. They melt right into hot milk, for a amazing hot chocolate drink. The chocolate tastes so sophisticated, and they are so easy to use. Just warm up your milk, or even a milk alternative and stir away. Watch your milk turn into the most delicious hot chocolate. They are a fun way to make hot chocolate with the kids, they will love being able to make their own, with these easy to use hot chocolate stirrers. Add a nice cinnamon stick to your hot chocolate for some added flavor.

The last chocolate favor wasApoEna chocolate pop. Wrapped individually in cellophane, unwrap and eat. These come in many styles for any occasion or event. Each pop is made to order, and after you taste them, you will for sure want to order some.

Maitland Mountain Farm Products Review

If you love pickles and pickled products, you are going to love learning about the products I received today.

From Maitland Mountain Farm, I got two types of pickles and some giardiniera. Before I tell you what I made with them. Let me tell you a little FYI about the farm.

The Maitland Mountain Farm started in 2009, in MA., and still today is producing some yummy products. At first it was a daughter and father farming project, than came a ambitious cook. Now a family run farm, that makes yummy pickles and pickled products. The products can be found in farmers markets, and many restaurants and in retail stores on the Northern Shore.

Since its cold out side, I decided to take it easy tonight and just make some different types of sandwich's for dinner.

First up was hot sausage's with Maitland Mountain Farm, Peter's Giardiniera. The giardiniera has some of the largest cuts of veggies inside that I have ever seen. You get a little kick of heat from the jalapeno inside, that really complimented the hot sausage. Also inside the jar is: carrot, cauliflower, red pepper, celery, cucumber, onion, Apple cider vinegar, white vinegar, water , pickling spice, garlic, dill, salt. Just pure all natural ingredients. Italians usually use giadiniera in a salad or just serve it as a appetizer. But you can do so much more with it, especially as a tasty condiment. Its great on sandwich's, but also great on some toasted bread for a brochette. If you really want to get creative try it as a ingredient for a cold pasta salad. Right through the jar you can see the huge chunks of veggies that make up Peter's Giardiniera, which really invites you in for a bite! You get a nice crunch still in the veggie mix as well.

Next I decided to try making a sandwich using two pickles as the holder, to sandwich some sliced pickle and lunchmeat, cheese and tomato. It was fantastic. The pickles from Maitland Mountain Farm, that I used was, Jett's Mild Pickles. Through the jar you see these huge pickle halves, and your mouth just starts to water. Even though they are mild there is still some jalapeno in them for a little kick. The rest of the ingredients are: White Vinegar, Apple Cider Vinegar, Salt, Pickling Spice, Chili Flake, Garlic, Dill, Jalapeno, Cucumbers. Fresh all natural ingredients that make for a crisp tasty pickle. You get a kick and a nice garlic taste on your palate. You will enjoy them straight from the jar, but you can also get creative with them, in many recipes.

The last sandwich for dinner was a tuna sandwich on homemade bread. In the tuna when chunks of Holly's Spicy Pickles, from Maitland Mountain Farm. The large pickles in the jar are made with: White Vinegar, Apple Cider Vinegar, Salt, Pickling Spice, Chili Flake, Garlic, Dill, Jalapeno, Cucumbers. The tuna had a nice flavor to it that only came from the spicy pickles. I added a tiny bit of the juice and that’s it, no other flavoring except for the mayo.

You can do so much with these products, just use your creative culinary side. And with that you will have some amazing, mouth watering dish's.

In every bite you can taste the love and care that went into making the pickles and the giardiniera's. I'm so glad I got to taste these products, you will really enjoy them. So much so you will want to make them a part of your kitchen staple.

Today's company is Unreal, they are handmade dark chocolate coconut bars, that will put a smile on your face. Unreal is very confident in their products, and are sure you will want them as a part of your staples. The company has grown so, and can now be found in so many stores across America, such as whole foods, shoprite, giant and so many others.

Unreal chocolate candy bars, were designed and created by two kids who's parents really did not want them eating their favorite chocolates. So they took it upon themselves to come up with their own recipes. And now their dream is a reality. Not kids anymore, they have grown and so has their products.

Unreal chocolate products are non gmo, fair trade ingredients, sustainable ingredients, organic, have nothing artificial, gluten free, vegan, and best of all taste amazing.

I received three bags of dark chocolate coconut bars from Unreal. The bars are made with only coconut and cassava syrup and dark chocolate. They taste so good, but are much healthier for you. The sweetness is all natural, there is no corn syrup or alcohols. The ingredients are:  Organic Coconut, Organic Cassava Syrup, Dark Chocolate (Chocolate Liquor, Cane Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Vanilla).

In each 4.2 bag, is individual wrapped chocolate coconut bars, making them easy to get, and great for a on the go snack. Another great feature is you can eat them from the bag, add them to a shake or smoothie, or break them up for a dessert topping. They are delicious and creamy, and you will enjoy every bite. You can now have a guilt free snack on hand.
