Grandma Sandino's Sicilian Sauce Review

From Grandma Sandino's, I received their popular Sicilian Sauce.

The Sicilian Sauce, has a wonderful story, from going out to eat at a restaurant, to tasting and testing, to a grandchild, to our tables today. The sauce had a long journey, and is now just a perfect, Sicilian Sauce, you can use on anything.

The Sicilian Sauce, will give your food taste, and in a easy and fast way. This handcrafted, artisan sauce from Grandma Sandino's, is a all natural vegetarian garlic sauce. Its vegan, gluten free, soy free, salt free, dairy free, nut free, and msg free. Its also non gmo, keto, paleo, and weight watcher friendly.

And as Grandma says "You'll Love it or Else!

And I loved it!

Let me tell you how I used this Sicilian Sauce in my dinner.

I made a nice spread tonight, using Grandma Sandino's Sicilian Sauce. To start off was a nice antipasto with spring pasta. The dressing was the Sicilian Sauce, and it was the most delicious sauce for a dressing. You would have thought that's what it was made for. The jar size sent over was the lover size, and I can honestly say it is. Poured over the pasta, it just got soaked right in, leaving a delicious taste, and as far as the veggies, it stayed on top, glazing them beautifully.

This Sicilian sauce is so good you just want to pour some in a glass and drink it. The Sicilian sauce is very versatile and can be used on pasta, as a dressing, as a marinade, so many ways. The Sicilian Sauce is made with nothing but real fresh ingredients to. You will just love the flavor and taste it gives anything you cook. With the fresh ingredients that it is made from, its very diet friendly. A wonderful condiment to have on hand!

I also poured some into a bowl with cheese and herbs and made a nice olive oil dip for some French baguettes. Every bite you take is fresh, garlicky and clean. Nothing over powering, just a nice meld of fine ingredients. The dip did not last long.

The main dish was some shrimp and broccoli, and the only flavor besides, a touch of black pepper, was the Grandma Sandino's Sicilian Sauce. Pairing it with fresh broccoli and seafood, was perfect. It helped me to create a very mouthwatering dinner.

If your looking for a olive oil, that is also a sauce, Grandma Sandino's Sicilian Sauce is for you. A fine product, no kitchen should be without.

Making a Cheese Board

Making a cheese board may be daunting and frustrating because of how many options there are.  But it doesn't have to be that way. I  suggest starting with an item that you absolutely want, and going from there. Maybe that means your favorite cheese, or maybe one cheese and one meat. As far as quantity is concerned, base it on how many guests you have.

1 ounce of cheese per person
1 to 2 tablespoons nuts
1 to 2 tablespoons condiments
4 pieces of fruit
4 to 6 vegetables
1 to 2 ounces of meat.

As a main, the amounts increase:

1 to 2 ounces cheese
2 to 3 tablespoons nuts
3 to 4 tablespoons condiments
4 to 5 pieces of fruit
6 to 10 vegetables
2 to 3 ounces of meat

Fill in the rest with a variety of flavors and textures.

If you like, you can concentrate on doing one item in advance lets say, dip or quick pickle or jam. Then purchase as many high-quality things as you can locate or manage.

Your large wooden cutting board always allows for an enticing showing. Many choices like slate or ceramic trays or some large serving boards. Make sure to have knives, spoons, tiny tongs, toothpicks and other items to enable people to feed themselves. Runny products, such as honey or jelly, can be stored in ramekins or in tiny containers. It is also beneficial to mark cheese in one form or another.

A second review for DeVine Wine Jelly

From Bowie, MD, DeVine Wine Jelly has sent another box of the divine, classy wine jellies over.

DeVine wine jelly, is hand made, with a passion, by DeVine Handz. Her specialty is in wine jellies, that are crafted with premium fruit wines.

The wine jellies are divine right out of the jar, but I found them better than that, and feel they should be incorporated into succulent dish's to give your food a gourmet look and taste.

DeVine Wine Jelly has received much notice from several places, such as Williams-Sonoma, National Women's History Month, Noir Magazine, and many notable places.

With great partnerships, DeVine Wine Jelly has some of the best fruit wine, jelly parings as far as flavors. And with the passion DeVine Handz has, her growth in the wine jelly business will only grow, to great heights.

So to incorporate these fine wine jellies, I made a complete dinner with them, from a appetizer to the dessert of the evening.

For the first course, was a nice Baked Brie, and for the center, I put in the DeVine wine jelly, red sky sangria, along with some fresh berries. When you cut open the brie and the wine jelly and fruit flow out, it not only looks amazing, but the taste was nectar to your palate. Sangria is my favorite drink, and this wine jelly tasted just like a fresh sangria for sure. A lovely wine jelly that complimented the Bake Brie very well, and gave it a very sophisticated taste. It is a sweet, wine jelly, with a little spicy hint to it. The wine choice was from St. Michael's, and is a red sky sangria. All the rest of the ingredients are all natural. It is just the perfect wine tasting jelly, nothing overly sweet. All the ingredients are in perfect meld.

Now for a refreshing side dish to the main meal, I made some homemade cranberry relish, and for that I incorporated it with DeVine wine jelly, Cranberry Shiraz. Now you may think that this would be a tart side dish, but it wasn't. The DeVine Cranberry Shiraz wine jelly gave it a delicate taste, that was just the right sweetness. The wine jelly was the star ingredient for the cranberry relish, after simmering the fresh cranberries. Adding the whole jar, it transferred all the flavor over to the fresh cranberries. The end result is a natural tasting cranberry relish, with a flavor profile from the wine jelly that is aromatic and scrumptious.

Awe, the main course could not have turned out any better then it did, by incorporating the DeVine, Jalapeno Green Apple Riesling wine jelly, into a sauce with some fresh mixed fruits. Apple always goes well with lamb, but the wine jelly from DeVine provided all the flavor. The wine jelly is also made with all natural ingredients, and Riesling apple wine. This is a fine crafted gourmet jelly, that made my lamb chops taste, like they came from a five star restaurant. Sweet with a little kick from the jalapenos' and the natural taste of the lamb, just a meal in perfect harmony. In each bite you take, you taste the passion and the love put into these fine fruity wine jellies. When you open the jar, as with all of them, you get a nice aromatic flow. This Riesling apple wine, added a nice sweet, and slightly tart, and spicy flavor profile to the lamb chops.

To finish off the night, I used DeVine, wine jelly, and made some thumb print cookies with the flavor of coconut lime Riesling jelly. And then a nice, white chocolate, drizzle over each. Not a better elegant way to end with a dessert. The Riesling wine gave the cookies a nice tropical flavor. The color is stunning, and the taste is, just fruity and divine in every bite. A nice aromatic wine jelly, that is very versatile, just like all of them. It is just a lovely wine jelly, that makes your palate feel like fresh blossoms have just entered. It’s clean, and a very fresh, wine jelly, that would pair nicely with many recipes.

DeVine fruity wine jellies, can be incorporated into so many recipes, like a nice fruit tart, on some toasted French bread crostini, to marinate chicken, a glaze for fish, the ideas are endless.

If your looking to try any of these wonderful artisan wine jellies, head over to the Devine Wine Jelly website. Your palate will thank you!
