2 pounds ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
¼ teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil Season the beef with salt
and pepper to taste in a mixing bowl. Marinate for approximately 10 minutes.
Combine Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, brown
sugar, and red chili pepper flakes in a small bowl. Set aside after whisking
until the sugar dissolves.
Melt butter and oil in a large, thick-bottomed pan
over medium heat. Add garlic when the butter is warm and starting to melt, but
not hot. Cook while stirring frequently, for one minute, or until garlic is
lightly browned.
Enhance the heat to high, mixing constantly to
prevent the garlic from burning. Check that the pan is hot.
Spread the beef across the pan. permit to sear for
1 to 2 minutes before turning to sear the other side. Cook while stirring
frequently, for three to five minutes after adding the sauce mixture.
Take out from the pan and, if you want to garnish use
chopped green onions and fried garlic bits.
