With that being said, lets get started with day one of cooking with, Bohns rubs.
Breakfast was on the spicy side, with eggs in purgatory. Using, Bohns packet of BBQ range Inferno! And it was amazing in every bite. They don't call it eggs in purgatory for nothing, its spicy and scorching hot. And with, Bohns BBQ range inferno rub, it was the right heat for the dish. The BBQ range rub here was used in the pasta sauce for the eggs, but you can use it on meat, poultry any place your looking for heat. The heat level is at the top, and the food will surely be dancing on your palate. The ingredients from the Bohns BBQ range inferno, was the only addition to the dish for flavor, and was all that was really needed. The ingredients for this BBQ rub are, Scotch Bonnet Powder / Cayenne Powder / Paprika / Paprika Smoked / Black Pepper / Garlic Granules / Brown Sugar / Celery Salt, and may contain traces of mustard powders. Each box has three packets in it, so you get a lot of product for the money. And they were all easy to use, just shake and your ready to season what ever your cooking. All the products are very versatile.
For lunch I some of the family wanted meatball parm, others cheese steaks. So two types of sandwich's is what it was. First up being the meatball parms made with, Bohns Steak Mate rub. This seasoning is for a robust flavor, and is made for burgers or steaks. But you can also think outside the box and use it to add flavor in your own creations. As far as my meatball parms, it was again the only seasoning I used to bring flavor and taste. As well as all the dish's cooked in the two days of using, Bohns. The steak mate seasoning is a mixture of wonderful spices and herbs, that added a burst of flavor to the meatballs. Beef is what Bohns recommends for this seasoning, but its up to you because it is as all the products very versatile. You don't need to add anything else, its all in the packet, such as, Salt, Black Pepper, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Red Pepper Crushed, Thyme Dried, Rosemary Dried, Coriander Dried. The overall taste is a little Smokey and heat. And another great feature of these products are, they are gluten free. The heat level is not over powering, just a nice warmth from the crushed red pepper. And the Smokey flavor comes from the dried coriander. Overall a wonderful melody of mixed spices and herbs.
For my steak sandwich's, I used the Bohns Game On for seasoning the meat. Letting it marinade on the meat for half a hour before cooking and making my steak sandwich's. The Bohns Game On, is a amazing versatile seasoning mix, recommended for game meats, like venison. However thinking out side the box and using it for thin sliced steak, it was the right seasoning mix. It delivers a nice rich smoky flavor with a little kick at the end. Over all very earthy and fresh tasting seasoning mix. The ingredients are, Cocoa powder, Black pepper, Smoked paprika, Brown sugar, Garlic, Sea salt, Onion powder, All spice, Celery salt, Cayenne pepper. The cheese steaks tasted so robust and delicious. This gluten free seasoning mix is spot on.
Before dinner time, I made two appy's. The first being some lamb meatballs with dough pockets, and seasoning in the lamb mix, so of, Bohns Lamb n Season mix. This seasoning mix is for lamb and compliments it very well. The gluten free ingredients are, Lemon Powder, Cumin, Turmeric, Sweet Paprika, Rosemary, Garlic, Sea Salt, Red Pepper Flakes. You get a nice Smokey flavored lamb meatball, with a slight kick at the end. And the turmeric and paprika also add a stunning color to the dish. Another very versatile mix of seasoning from,Bohns. It will not only transform your lamb dish's, but others as well.
The main course for day was, was out of this world delicious. I made a melody of seafood and topped it on some aioli pasta. Using Bohns fish bait to season all the seafood and some in the aioli oil for the pasta. This is another versatile product from, Bohns, made for fish, but also would be great in some Spanish dish's as well. It brings a sweet and spicy taste to your palate, with ingredients such as, Brown Sugar, Cayenne Pepper, Cumin, Black Pepper, Sea Salt, Red Bell Pepper. Such natural and real ingredients packed with a burst of flavor. Bohns does all the work in their products, and this is why you don't need to add any thing additional. This truly brought a irresistible taste to my seafood pasta dish. I can only imagine how wonderful a other dish's would taste using it.
