Believe it or not, kids love this dish. But you can also serve it as an appetizer at your next event. Either way, it’s not going to last.
Ingredients:
1 pound
Bacon, Cut Into Thirds
1 pound Lil’
Smokies small sausages
1 stick
Butter
2 cups Brown
Sugar
Set the oven
to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Wrap each
smokie in a third of the bacon. (small sausage) Arrange all of the wrapped
smokies in a baking dish in a single layer.
Following
that, melt the stick of butter and stir in 1 cup of brown sugar until well
combined.
Put the
smokies and bacon with the butter and brown sugar mixture.
Following
that, evenly sprinkle the smokies with the remaining cup of brown sugar.
Cook for
15-20 minutes, then increase the heat to 400F for 5 minutes or longer, or until
the bacon is crisp.
