Creamy Potato Soup

 



 Creamy potato soup is a classic comfort food that is perfect for a chilly day. It is easy to make and only requires a few ingredients. This recipe is for a creamy and flavorful potato soup that is sure to be a hit.

 

Ingredients

 

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 onion, chopped

4 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups chopped potatoes

4 cups vegetable broth

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)

Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

 

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened about 5 minutes.

 

Add the 1 potato, vegetable broth, oregano, salt, and pepper to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Tips
