Cheesy Pull-Apart Pizza Sliders Recipe

Yields: 12 sliders Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 20-25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12-count) package Hawaiian sweet rolls or dinner rolls
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup mini pepperoni slices (or regular pepperoni, chopped)
  • 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional, for a little kick)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1.  Preheat Oven & Prep Rolls: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Do not separate the rolls. Carefully slice the entire block of rolls in half horizontally, creating a top and bottom layer.

2.  Assemble Base: Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.

3.  Layer Toppings: Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Arrange the pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

4.  Add Top Layer: Carefully place the top half of the rolls over the toppings.

5.  Butter Topping: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Brush this mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.

6.  Bake: Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
