With only 6 ingredients, you can make a mouthwatering fluffy biscuit bathing in a single stick of butter. You can serve them for breakfast, or as your bread serving with a meal.
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 TBS baking powder
1 TBS white granulated sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 stick (butter, melted
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
Prepare the oven to 450°F.
Distribute and evenly spread melted butter in an 8 x 11 baking
dish. Whisk
together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large mixing basin.
Gradually pour in the buttermilk till everything is properly
mixed. The dough will be a little moist.
To create buttermilk, combine 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon
juice in a big 2-cup measuring cup. Fill the measuring cup halfway with
normal milk. Allow to settle for five minutes after stirring.
Drop the dough over the butter and spread it to the
dish's borders. Cut lines in the dough with a bread knife to form Twelve
biscuits.
