The South is infamous for strange belief systems, such as painting porch ceilings blue, covering mirrors when someone dies, and being mindful of what you eat on New Year's Day. Black-eyed peas, collard greens, & cornbread are all said to bring good fortune in the next year. Having this in mind, with the start of 2024 just around the horizon, bring a wealth of good luck. Have fun and Happy New Year!
