You must try this delightfully beautiful dessert!!
CRUST:

tablespoons unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups
graham cracker crumbs
3
tablespoons granulated sugar
FILLING:
8 ounces of cream
cheese, softened
1 cup
powdered sugar
1 teaspoon
pure vanilla extract
1 container
cool whip, 8 ounces
1 can cherry
pie filling, 21 ounces
Step 1:
Place the butter in a medium mixing bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, or until
completely melted.
Step 2: Stir
in the graham cracker crumbs and sugar until well combined. Step 3: Firmly press the crumb mixture into
the bottom of a sprayed 8 x 8 baking dish. Place aside.
Step 1:
Place the cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. Mix with an electric mixer until
the cream cheese is smooth and free of lumps.
Step 2: Stir
in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
Step 3: Add
the cool whip and mix until it is combined with the cream cheese, but do not
overmix.
Step 4:
Using a spoon or offset spatula, spread the filling evenly over the graham
cracker crust.
Step 5:
Spoon the cherry pie filling over the top and carefully spread it out evenly.
Step 6:
Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
