I recently made a delicious and easy recipe for roasted apples. They were so good that I had to share the recipe with you!
Ingredients:
4 apples (I used Granny
Smith apples)
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375
degrees F (190 degrees C).
Wash and cut apples into
quarters.
In a bowl, combine
butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Toss apples in the
butter mixture.
Place apples on a baking
sheet lined with parchment paper.
Roast for 20-25 minutes,
or until tender.
Serve:
Serve roasted apples
with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or your favorite toppings.
Tips:
You can use any type of
apple you like.
If you want your apples
to be sweeter, add more brown sugar.
You can add a pinch of
cloves or ginger for extra flavor.
Roasted apples are a
great dessert for fall.
I hope you enjoy this
recipe as much as I do!
