Better then store bought!
Ingredients
1
pound lean hamburger 80/20
1/2
cup minced onion
1
teaspoon garlic powder
1
teaspoon onion powder
1
teaspoon kosher salt
1/2
teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
10
oz can cream of mushroom soup
8 oz
dried egg noodles 1-2 cups water as needed
3
oz. cream cheese
1/2
cup sour cream
Brown
the meat in a large skillet. (Drain any extra oil if required.) Stir in the
chopped onion, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and freshly ground
black pepper after the burger has browned.
Mix
in the cream of mushroom soup well. To begin, stir in the egg noodles and one
cup of water. I prefer to just slightly cover the noodles with water before
whisking them together. The water will transform into a delicious gravy while
it cooks.
Cook
until the noodles are soft, about 12-18 minutes on low heat. Add additional
water, 1/2 cup at a time, as required.
Add
the cream cheese and sour cream just before serving. Stir until the mixture is
smooth and creamy.
Serve
with mashed potatoes if preferred. Serves 4-6 people.
