Eggnog Pie

 


This delectable no-bake eggnog pie is the ideal Christmas treat, tasting exactly like a cup of creamy eggnog in a pie shape. The velvety pie is a delightful combination of eggnog taste, smooth pudding, and spices, and it requires no baking.

 

1 (3.4-ounce) package of instant vanilla pudding mix

1½ cups eggnog

½ teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 prepared (pre-baked) 9-inch pie crust

 

Whisk together quick pudding mix, eggnog, and nutmeg in a medium mixing basin until the mixture thickens (about 5 minutes).

Whisk the heavy cream on high speed in a separate dish (or in a stand mixer) until firm peaks form.

Fold the whipped cream into the eggnog pudding mixture gently.

 

Place the pie filling in the prepared pie crust.

Allow at least 3 hours for the pie to firm up.

Serve with extra whipped cream and freshly grated nutmeg on top.
