Glazed Easter Ham

A nice ham to enjoy this Easter.

1 whole fully cooked bone-in ham 15lbs or more

whole cloves

3 c. brown sugar

1/2 c. spicy brown mustard

1 can Dr Pepper or Coke

3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar

Set oven temperature to 325°F.

Cut a diamond-shaped incision on the ham's surface, about 1/8-inch deep. In the center of each diamond, place a clove. According to the instructions on the package, lay the ham in a big roasting pan on a rack, tent it with foil, and bake for two to two and a half hours or more.

Simmer the mustard, brown sugar, vinegar, and soda in a small saucepan until they start to bubble. Simmer for about 15 minutes, till it's reduced and somewhat thickened. When the ham has baked for about two hours, take off the foil & apply the glaze over it every twenty minutes, putting it back in the oven uncovered until it's glossy. Take it out of the oven and let it sit for fifteen to twenty minutes before slicing.
