Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 jar (18 oz) grape jelly
- 1 bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread
crumbs, milk, onion, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well
incorporated.
2. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them
on a baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are
fully cooked.
3. While the meatballs are baking, combine the grape
jelly and chili sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the jelly is
melted and the sauce is heated through.
4. Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to the
saucepan with the grape jelly sauce. Stir to coat the meatballs in the sauce.
5. Simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring
occasionally, until the sauce is thickened and the meatballs are heated
through.
