The company dates back to 1887, and is a family owned and operated business still today. The best part is they are working on a storefront, so visitors can come and enjoy their products.

Dinner tonight was also a great hit, honey chicken thighs with garlic, made again with Hilbert's raw honey. This honey was finger licking nectar on the chicken. It stayed on the chicken so well, and when it was done I drizzled more honey on it. Right down to the bone, my chicken the flavor of the honey garlic mixture went. The main flavoring being the Hilbert's honey.
With still more honey in the jar, dessert was next. And I made everyone some loukoumades drizzled with what else, Hilbert's honey. Talk about a perfect finish for the night. The loukoumades were drenched in this delicious honey, giving them sweetness and a mouthwatering bite. You didn't mind the stickiness, the drizzle of Hilbert's honey on them was worth it.
