Pap Vince Product Review

This Italian girl never passes up good pasta!

Today, it was a pasta feast for sure for dinner. With products sent over from, Papa Vince.

Papa Vince, products is a family business, that has been making extra virgin olive oil since 1935. A small family business that is located in Santa Ninfa, Sicily, Italy. When Papa Vince was only 17, he labeled and learned the family business. That's his picture on the label now! With his products, you will create your own family memories, as he did with his. All the products are authentic Italian.

Now it's time to tell you all about my feast of the evening.

If I could only put on her how amazing my house smells right now, with the sauce simmering, and the fish baking, everyone's mouth is watering.

First up was some baked tilapia, with ajillo, Papa Vince sea salt, black pepper and garlic. Not only is fish healthy for you, but the sea salt as well. Papa Vince sea salt, is harvested in Trapani, Sicily, Italy. It gave the fish a nice clean taste. There is no gluten, additive free, and its anti caking. The sea salt comes in a glass jar that will help keep it's freshness.

The next dish was the durum wheat, busiate pasta from, Papa Vince, and Papa Vince tomato sauce. The busiate is a homemade cork screw pasta, that is clean and made from local artisans. It is made with whole grain semolina, and is non gmo. It's great for holding not only the sauce, but great for light fish that may be added. The cork screw shape let the sauce hang on, until the last bite. The taste of the pasta was not only clean, but tasted natural. It was fast and easy, it took only ten minutes to make. The busiate pasta, from Papa Vince is great for a Bolognese sauce, as well.

The Papa Vince, tomato sauce that was sent as well, is also a natural made product from Sicily, Italy. There is no sugar in the sauce, its low acid as well. All the tomatoes for the pasta sauce, from Papa Vince, are hand picked at their prime peak. The sauce is very delicious, and taste so homemade, no one will know it came from a glass jar. If you have a sensitive belly to tomato sauce, this sauce will come in handy for you. There is no artificial additives, and there is no preservatives. The sweetness is all natural, from the vine ripe tomatoes. What is also nice, there is no mass production, since the tomatoes are handpicked when they become ripe. The seasoning in the jar of Papa Vince, tomato sauce is Papa Vince extra virgin olive oil and Papa Vince sea salt. And really that’s all you need.

The next pasta that boiled away, was Papa Vince, tumminia wheat, busiate pasta. This is a ancient Sicilian stone ground grain pasta. For this I coated the pasta with a homemade pesto. The pasta is high in fiber, and resistant to starch. I cooked it al dente and with the pesto, it was fantastic. It's a fantastic whole wheat pasta, that when you chew it does not taste like your eating cardboard. You don't have to be Sicilian to love these products. The tumminia wheat busiate pasta is also made by local artisans. It was a very sophisticated dish.

You can find Papa Vince, products on their website, and Amazon. Make them part of your kitchen staples today!
